Seriously, though I don't care what anyone else says about Salina. From the post-industrial wasteland that is the old elevator and milling district in North Salina to day drinking at Big Nose Kate's to memories of Big 8 women's tourney at the Bi-Center, I will never stop loving Salina.
Didn’t realize you were a fellow Salinian. The Bi Center being named the Tony’s Pizza event center still fucks with me.

Wichita to ABQ three times. It's cool to see the scenery out west, the food is better than airplane food, crazy uncomfortable seats, loud, there are some weirdos who feel much more liberated on a train than on a airplane.
The biggest reason to not take the train is that the price point is often similar if not more expensive than airfare and obviously it doesn't get you there faster. Outside of busses it's the slowest mode of transportation, but sometimes the most expensive.
Also you are much more likely to die than air travel

Thank you sir, six months is the floor which is definitely good news. I think I read somewhere that they expect it to last 2 years or maybe even more. Hopefully they will use the 2 years to continue developing a more permanent solution, if such a thing is even possible.
