Just to be edgy

The sock gets why the chant was rough ridin' stupid, it was just way too "try too hard."  How in the eff could you be a college student and think swearing is so edgy and cool? I just did it twice, seamlessly. You people really are Spradling loving, mayo eating, uncultured hicky rubes.  This is what happens when 80% of your student section spent every summer from 7-18 being sent to vacation bible school in the Gyp Hills.

Today's game didn't affect my opinion on oscar, and it shouldn't have affected anyone else's. oscar made some decisions that are fun to laugh at (sitting Angel with 45 seconds left, for example), but they probably didn't cost us the game.

Yes that was very weird. He sat Angel defensively when he had been sitting Will in that same spot since conference play started, I was like wtf

He must have REALLY wanted no one to foul

I think it was about Angel's 4 fouls and the anticipation of OT.  Not saying I agree with the move, but I think that was the difference.

Weber needs to at least compete with the middle of the big 12.  Look at OSU, OU, ISU, etc...  They've got studs.  OSU has 2 4* top 30 guards and a few big men from JUCO's.  ISU and OU are going to return plenty. etc...

I'm less concerned about next year than I was prior to the season.  We are relying on JHR less than I expected, while Shane and Nino have give us more.  I think Foster can have an impact on the scoring even if he doesn't take Will's spot.  He will get Irvings minutes and score much more than Irving with those.  Similar to how Pullen is was the third guard, but the high scoring guard and also the third leading scorer as a freshman.  I think we're good if: Angel is Angel.  Southwells emergence is a trend, not an anomaly. We get decent development from our bigs.  Foster is able to give an instant scoring boost.

Weber was lights out tonight.  Trying to hang anything on him is laugable.  Angel, Southwell and Weber were fantastic.  Rodney was ok.  Got pretty bad after that.

#TBID as I originally interpreted it in April was that after the Weber hire we wanted the Dallas hotel that John Currie was doing his coaching search in burnt to the ground because he hired a shitty basketball coach that will cause the downfall of our basketball program.  I never had any expectation that he would get fired soon, and I like 'Cats hoops way too much to root for a season like Illinois' last year, which was just about the only way oscar would have been fired quickly.

Then you aren't BID.  Congrats on not being a dumbass.

You guys have no idea what burn it down is.  If you think oscar will have short terms success, but longterm failure, that does not make you a BIDer.  That makes you a poster on goEMAW.  Literally every single poster on this board thinks that.  The thing that separates the faction is what you hope will happen despite your best logic telling you that it's unlikely.  Burn-it-downers hope for immediate spectacular failure so oscar will get canned and we can start it over right away.  The otherside (Team oscar I guess, though I don't really like that) hopes for success to sustain beyond a couple of years.  Both groups think their hopes are unlikely.  Burn it down is failing right now.  After a few years BID will be dead, because the whole premise behind BID is immediate failure.  If its a long term failure, everybody was right, but nobody got what they wanted.  Lesson end.
