How about KSIU great Chuckie Williams? Could kill three birds with one stone. A former player, black and gay.

Chuckie is gay?
Mike Evans?

Altman was at K-State 4 seasons
2 NIT's (Final 4 of NIT in '94)
1 NCAA (1993)
Big 8 Coach Of The Year ('93)

Altman way better than Asbury or Wooldridge, not even close

We are talking about hires at their time of hire you simple son of a bitch.  Any of their accomplishments at ksu are completely irrelevant.  Hope those words weren't too big.

Thanks captain d bag

Noticed Ferguson from KSU is one of the team med guys
How many assistants do most NFL teams have?
A coach for all 22 positions plus special teams
Should be noted lock out of players likely in 2011, so Jimbo will go two full seasons without coaching and get paid for it

Chris Cosh is joining Dan McCarney at North Texas
His audition was the stellar outing of the mob in late late November
Snyder got McCarney the UNT job and Mac is doing the old guy a favor, therefore never having to fire anyone

If old time means winning 11 games a year, then I am good with that

Kansas State Football / Re: Mo Latimore (finally) off coaching staff....
« on: January 10, 2011, 12:33:10 AM »
A couple of points

1. I thought it was a well known fact that Mo Lattimore was retiring after the season. This has been known since before the season started. I knew so anyways, and assumed you all did as well.

2. Isn't Ricky Rahne the TE coach? He is going to Vandy as O Cord

3. Glad Burns is staying. We won't ever win very many games with the Hartman/Zimmerman safety duo out there. They're just too slow/out of place too much.

Ok trying to get all this straight, feel free to correct me
1. Billy transferring to James Madison
2. Dad Cosh likely gone
3. Coach Burns going to Ole Miss
4. Tanner Burns staying
5. Mo "retiring"
6. Joe Gordon becomes the black defensive coach (takes Burns spot actually)
7. Leavitt DC
8. Only Joe Bob retained on Defensive staff
9. Del, Michael Smith, Dimel, Dickey staying on offense
10. Need TE Coach
Thought- If Sean Snyder joins staff, put him in charge of Special Teams, have Michael Smith and Dimel, Dickey work with Tight Ends

709
Other board speculates
Transfer to 1-AA James Madsion
Hmmmmmm?

Congrats ku, you hired your version of Tim Weiser.   Don't expect anything special.

No way he is a good as Weiser
Wise brought us Huggins and Brad Hill (elite baseball coach for uninformed)

Who told him to have that hotdog promotion? That was pretty good pub

Eddie Fogler told Weiser to hire hugs, Gene Stephenson told Weiser to hire Brad Hill.

Kansas State Football / Re: It's Patterson!
« on: January 01, 2011, 10:11:03 PM »
Congrats to former* K-State head coach Gary Patterson and his TCU team for their Rose Bowl win.  Gary, it may have sucked the way things went down with K-State a couple of years ago, with Snyder butting in and all when you were set to come home, but at least you now have a bigger win on your resume than Snyder has or will ever have, and you didn't have to put up with his shadow over you to accomplish it.

* For about an hour.

Snyder did beat an undefeated number one ranked team by 28 points and win the Big 12 title
More impressive than beating the number five ranked team in a bowl game

Other possibilities: Madden or triangular-shaped pieces of paper.

Love that game!
Where did you get the fake crowd pics?
Need the painted unies though!
Never completed a pass in all my electric football years, felt like Locker did against NU first game

Carson has to be unbelievably happy that he's not forced to play football anymore.

I know this will be powerespect approved (how do I get that icon to appear?) but when chatting with my brother on facebook, he told him he is "not done playing football"

Actually would not mind Rich Rod as next head coach
He won at WVU and that is not paradise

723
I wish we had a hip, young black head coach that talked the big talk and would schedule us some big time non con games
Preferably a guy with a shaved head who ran a west coast offense
Instead of working the assistants to death he could shazbot! the wives of the assistants
BBR
 Bring Back Ron!!!!

When we cheated the most we were horrible
1975-77 Ellis Rainsberger
1975 3-8
1976 1-10
1977 1-10

This is when a majority of our NCAA violations took place

In every game on every touchdown you could throw a flag if you go with the so called letter of the law
We got to be the one team that got raped in the aspirin by an overzealous crew
In the end we get lots of publicity and we are the team everyone feels sorry for
Might help recruiting and gets the powercat logo in every home
Even LaBron is talking about us
