And Bruceketball "lost" Angel? He ran Angel off, _FENCE.
He didn't run him off, but a good coach would have paid him to stay. oscar is not a good coach.
Semantics, but "losing" him implies it was something out of his control. Yes, a competent coach would have found a way to keep Angel among us.

I recall either Bishop or Roberson talking about quarterbacks sliding. Said they were never coached to slide, that if there was a yard there to get you go get that yard.
It's not a philosophical change. It's just the Snake being a giant pussy.
Compare that to our man Daniel draggin a guy four yards to pick up a first down.
