This whole conversation is ridiculous. The only reason to get paper is if you check a bag, and the only reason to check a bag is golf clubs or guns.  Use the app you geezers.

And bikes.

Speaking of which, anyone ever traveled to Nova Scotia or Montreal?

Montreal, yes, lots. Nova Scotia, kinda.

Tips? What places are must see? If you have to choose between the southern half or the northern half for a bike tour, what would you choose?

Had a nice little ride in the mountains inbetween lighting strikes the other week.

Jetboils are basically only good for boiling water. The level of heat they put out don't lend themselves to cooking other things. Pasta might be the only exception.

Stop asking me for selfies.

Would also settle for Benzema.

Can we just get Haaland to transfer?

Pulisic, Reyna, Aaronson, Ferreira, Weah, Pefok, Pepi, probably Arriola, probably missing someone too would all be above morris

Pepi has really fallen out of favor and form. I'd rather see Haji keep getting chances rather than waste a roster spot on Morris.
Did you see what gregg said about Haji? Yikes :sdeek:

I did. Pretty bullshit if you ask me. We completely changed tactics late in the game after taking him out and the conditions were absolutely trash. Not fair at all to be evaluating his performance based off that start. GreGG has a history of dumb favoritism and bad takes. This is just another one on the list. BTW, I'm not saying Haji is the solution by any means. Just that we don't have enough real information to be making a decision. The dude is 22 years old, has a history with several of our key players, and has the right physical tools to carry the job. Would be a far better move to at least see about it rather than keep a 27 year old Morris with two recent acl tears imo.
Agree with all of this, other than the Morris comparo. Morris is, and should be a wing player, not a central striker.

The problem with Morris on the wing is his fitness and competition. The dude looks BEEFY for a winger. He also has to compete against Crispy P, Gio, Weah, Aaronson, and Arriola... I don't see any of those guys losing their spot to Morris unless injury or some other disaster happens, particularly because Ferriera and Arriola have good chemistry. Honestly, I don't disagree with the thought that Twellman had RE: moving Weah to No. 9. Every time he has been getting the ball within 35 yards he has been hunting for net. Either way, I'd rather see Haji get more looks than Pepi. Sargent also deserves some better looks, but both of them need to perform.

Straight up tho, do you guys also get super excited at the thought of a midfield with Adams, McKennie, Aaronson, Musah, Crispy, and Gio? Toss in attacks from Dest and Jedi, we will be able to play a style of football we have never witnessed at our national team level. Putting Weah at the top of that pyramid is super enticing given his confidence on the ball and willingness to take chances. He's obviously the next on the list talent wise, but playing out of position might not do him any favors.

Morris has always been chubby, but before the latest ACL injury he was the fastest player in the pool, factually. I have no idea about his speed now.

I would need to see some metrics but I don't think the issue with the 9 is as bad as people make it out to be. It seems like, in our system, the nine doesn't get as much service because our wings score a lot and we have aggressive attackers in the midfield. We'll see, I guess.

Agreed with this. Seems odd that we would want to rely on target man play when we have such dynamic movement in our midfield. That being said, a true hold up forward would do wonders for our pace.

Imagine watching golf and thinking soccer is boring.

watching golf and being really in to it is hilarious

Fellas... Fellas. Let's not crap on other people's lawns to make us feel better about having a coach with three "g"s in his first rough ridin' name.
In defense of golf, it is one of the few, if not only sport, where you can literally watch a person slowly descend into madness.

Was in Colorado last week and saw a cyclist at the summit of Cottonwood Pass (12,000 ft elevation) wearing just shorts and sandals while snow flurries blew around him. Looked like he was doing some sort of ultralight bikepacking.

You could have at least said "hi".

Looks like I need to now check out season 1.
https://twitter.com/HBO/status/1480641276076871687

Finally got around to watching Season 1 of this show and WOW what a ball-grasping show!  Every single character in the entire show is just so hate-able in every way.  Love it!  Can't wait for Season 2

Also got around to watching the most recent season of Curb.  Maybe the best season yet.

The ass eating scene is just classic television. Put it in the TVHOF.

Last two seasons of Curb have been absolute gems.

Btw, new Kids in the Hall on Amazon is amazing.
