If I had to give up coffee or beer, i'm not sure which one I would pick. It honestly might be beer and I love beer.

I chose giving up coffee.  Haven't looked back.

I gave up beer and haven't looked back. Lot of lciq going on in here. Very disappointed.

Agree on the Tillman miss. Arriola v Morris is kind of a funny debate. Really, the only time either of them are getting time is straight hustle/press moments when we need to go hard at goal. Which case I can see the benefit of Morris over Arriola in that he has more experience in that role and can even sub in up top if things got terrible.

The whole Haji thing is wild. I read an article on Pefok the other day and didn't realize he doesn't speak english. Haji's history with some of our more important players and general fit had to of been the straw that broke that camel's decision. Just super strange that the only Haji we got was in absolute crap conditions that completely took the game away from him. Not sure how you don't vet his abilities and fit out more in qualifying, but that's GGG for ya. I also think Haji prototypically fills the 9 role in GGG's system a little better than Pefok. All that said, i don't think GGG is going to really play anyone other than Jesus or maybe Weah up there unless it's a feed balls in the box situation.

Straight up hate the Long pick. That dud shouldn't be anywhere near this team, but I'd be angrier about it if Ream wasn't selected. If Long starts, i'll be furious. Really crap that Richards isn't healthy, but it is what it is.

Hate chugged the FIFA corruption limited series on netflix the past two nights and I am now absolutely ready to incredulously watch every game of the Qatar world cup and say "it's so terrible that no body did anything to stop this humans rights violations" after the USA lose a match.

Also watched the "Captains" series on netflix and completely lol'd at Jamaica thinking they are good at football. Reggae Boys? More like Bottom of Concacaf Boys.

RRR. Holy crap, this was a good movie.

What movie is this?

RRR - It's a 3 hour netflix movie, I think it's Indian, that is supposed to be the best thing ever.

Yeah, it's an Indian action flick on Netflix.

Can confirm it is probably the best thing ever.

Btw, fun kid activity is to take em rafting through town.

This is my neck of the woods. Let me know if you want beta on anything. Grand Mesa, Dolores Canyon, Uncompahgre, Weminuche, La Platas, San Juans, Lone Mesa, Hovenweep, Canyon of the Ancients, etc.

Would not recommend going to Moab in July unless you're planning to run the Green. Best times are April-May, or September-November.
@asava, we are planning to camp near Durango for approx one week. One day for narrow gauge railroad, at least one day for Mesa Verde, maybe one day for Ouray hot springs/Oak Creek Overlook, one day to hike a bit on Colorado Trail. Do you think kids would like Canyons of the Ancients?

Will take recommendations from you and tdaver to defer Utah rock formation national parks to a spring/fall timeframe.

DGO in July is great, though you should be aware that the rains/monsoons usually start about mid july and set in just after noon. The snows should be melted up high, and there are lots of amazing day hikes you can get in while around, and several I'd recommend over the Colorado Trail section that is down here. Check out Engineer Mountain via Pass Trail at the top of Coal Bank and take it to the meadow. Summiting Engineer is a little bit of a scramble, so it would depend on how old/adept your kids are if you wanted to try and get close to 13,000 ft. Either way the meadow is awesome and the views are incredible. Just don't get caught up there after noon, as you'll be above tree line where clouds move in quickly and lightning is a deadly concern. There are also lots of hikes off Molas Pass as well. Check out Vestal Basin. Lots of waterfalls and it's hiking only, but that will take you on a portion of the CT that is only open to foot traffic. Molas and Little Molas have great campgrounds as well. You could also look towards high alpine lakes like Highland Mary Lake, Columbine Lake, or even Ice Lakes. Ice Lakes is permit only now due to so many people finding out about it via instagram and it basically being overrun by idiots who start fires and generally leave crap everywhere, but it's a pretty remarkable place. Highland Mary and Columbine are lesser known and good options. An easier lake hike would be Potato Lake near Purgatory.

Canyon of the Ancients is awesome, but your kids might lose interest if they've already done Mesa Verde. Depending on where you are camping, it could mean a lot of time in the car. You're doing the right thing by giving a full day or more to Mesa Verde. It takes quite a bit of car time just to get to the dwellings. You should also double check to see what sites are open. They often close sites for restoration, and it can be a big bummer if you go in there without knowing some of the more accessible ones are closed.

It sounds like camping at Molas or Little Molas would be your ideal location to reach both Ouray, Mesa Verde, and do a bit of hiking. Andrews Lake, Molas Lake, and Little Molas are all great to do a little stand up paddle boarding on. Where were you thinking of camping?

Personally, I'd try and not do too much. There's plenty to do and not enough time around these parts. I've spent the last decade exploring all that I can and still have so much on my checklist to knock off. Pro tip on the narrow gauge: one way is enough. A full day on that thing feels pretty long. Purgatory has a lot to do and they've built out a ton of stuff recently, new alpine coaster, a lot of mountain biking, etc...

rhaenyra is going to have to kill daemon or something
Agree. The child that connected them died, and she seemed to laugh in his face about him not knowing about the vision after he choked her.

There are two more
There are (were) three more sons, all with brown hair, and none are Daemon's. All bastards of Harwin Strong.

Wrong. There is Aegon III and Viserys II. The stillborn (Visenya) would have been numero 6 for the ol' Bitch Queen.

Pro tip: make sure to check your airline carriers policy on bikes and weight limits for business class. I booked separate flights on Air Canada and was able to place bids for an upgrade to business class. It ended up costing me pretty much the same amount to sit in business class since the weight limit was higher and more checked bags were allowed as it would have cost me to sit with the poors and pay extra to check my bike bag.

Bike toured around Nova Scotia a few weeks ago. It was great. I would recommend not being there at the same time as a hurricane, but otherwise it was pleasant af.

This whole conversation is ridiculous. The only reason to get paper is if you check a bag, and the only reason to check a bag is golf clubs or guns.  Use the app you geezers.

And bikes.

Speaking of which, anyone ever traveled to Nova Scotia or Montreal?

Montreal, yes, lots. Nova Scotia, kinda.

Tips? What places are must see? If you have to choose between the southern half or the northern half for a bike tour, what would you choose?

What time of the year are you going? I've never been there when it is cold, because to hell with going north when it's cold. As much as I like Montreal, I don't know if I'd consider anything "must see." Depending on when you're going to be there, watching the Canadiens is probably the most memorable thing I've done there. They are really into hockey. Most everything you want to see are all accessible by bike or walking; the port, Old Montreal, Downtown, Chinatown, and The Red Light District are all adjacent. Again, don't know when you're going and whether or not you're going with kids, but jet boating is cool, as is La Ronde. The islands are pretty cool. The casino is  but I'm not really into them. I like hanging out at McGill's campus. And everyone will tell you to get a sandwich at Schwartz's Deli, we've discussed it on this board, problem is that you have to get in line for a smoked meat sandwich, and by line, I don't mean 20 minutes either.

I've never thought about Montreal in terms of north and south, but most of the things I have done there are definitely south. It's a cool city, an interesting mix of north america and europe. The french canadians can be rude as eff, the embodiment of what americans think of Parisians, which isn't actually true of them. I do like going there, but there aren't a lot of places that are going to blow your mind.

North/south question was about Nova Scotia, but I appreciate the intel on Montreal! THANKS.

I'll probably roll the dice on this flick
