Best way = immerse yourself for an extended period of time in a Spanish-speaking place (e.g. the Rio Grande Valley, Costa Rica, or someplace tropical or exotic)

Easiest way = combo of software and classes.  I've heard o.k. things about Rosetta Stone, but can't verify personally.  Sometimes nonprofit organizations offer classes for conversational Spanish, you could also volunteer at one that works with many Spanish-speakers.

¡Buena suerte!

. . . without perfection from Jake here on out I don't think he'll be winning the award . . .

If the 'Cats win on Wednesday night in Lincoln (w/the Beard playing a starring role), I may start to get excited about this "Phoenix" idea that TMC advocates.  It COULD happen, Wednesday will tell us more.  Sorry, but as a 'Cat fan, I'm cautious when firing up my optimism.    :crossfingers:

Wooderson, you're wrong.  I'm as liberal as they come, but I don't want to kill babies, fetuses, embryos, or any living thing for that matter.

Abortions are never a thing to celebrate or to 'want.'  As Moscow is presenting above, it'd be better to prevent as many of them as possible.  I do have confidence in people that, if they knew all of the facts, access to preventive measures, and could act accordingly that there would be far fewer abortions and I've heard President Obama say REPEATEDLY that he'd like to prevent as many unintended pregnancies as possible.

We can have grandstanding debates from now to the cows come home, but it won't make a bit of difference until we start to actually communicate as a society about what we really want and how we can all make it happen together.

Apparently a warrant has been issued for his arrest.

Assuming they come out of this unscathed, it looks like Rodríguez and Kropc are a great pipeline for the future. VERY nice!  :emawkid:

I've never understood what Miami's version of Pitch Weekly has against Shaky and his guys.

:dunno: Seems like a humanitarian to me.  All's he's doin' is helping these kids realize the American dream while playing a little round ball.

You're outting yourself as illiterate in two languages:  ¿quieres decir 'la panocha'?  A far better retort would've been, "Is it El Gato or El Pato?" something like that . . .  :flush:
You out yourself as an overeducated snob. Not going for proper

http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=pinocha

So you don't know how "el" and "la" work? It would be La Pinocha.

Man, you don't know Spanish or English!!
You should have this argument with FormerKCcat Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!). Jeebus you guys are amazing.

Uh, I think Stevesie and I are in agreement that you ARE, in fact, illiterate in two languages.  Nothing wrong with speaking español properly, it's in my heritage (plus, when I was single, it opened up a lot more dating options; ladies appreciate a well-spoken man, Huskerpride, try it out).   :bartender:

who gives a cac?  it's KSTATEO but the tucks buy the cac out of them, so it's more $$$.

I know right?  Who cares?  Wright was getting calls, texts, and tweets left and right.

Shirt-tucks are paying for the practice facility.  Keep-em happy.

:dunno: I might pay $.99 on iTunes? (as long as Wyatt isn't calling the game)

Thanks for linking me to what I already knew about. I was kind of hoping you weren't Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!) and had something new to talk about.

This just in, Boston hasn't won a world series in 80 years....oh wait.
Is it El Gato or El Pinocha?

WE STILL WANT TO COME BIG EAST!   :runaway:

TCU beat us to it.  Gary will have the last laugh.

You'd think G-Patt would bput in a good word, least he could do for us, huh?

Will we have the biggest stadium in I-AA/FCS?

Yeah, but then we'd have to play NW Missouri State and Pittsburgh State - those guys are effin' tough! :horrorsurprise:

I am moving all of the idiotic gpc/okc baiting to its own thread.

Chingon, I've been meaning to suggest this for a long time, but you should consider using an accent over your "o," it would be quite exotic  :gocho:

Like this, "Chingón" - suddenly you're an international man of intrigue.

I understand all the remarks about this site now...what a joke.
Meh, there might be a lot of assholes here but at least we don't pay 9.95 to not hear breaking news until 892,352,986 media outlets report it.
Yep, b/c that assumption isn't flawed at all. We only pay $9.95/mo (omg it is so expensive...lmao) to read message boards....tool.

Wait! You paid $9.95 to read this? Smooth move, Mods! Way to capitalize on a situation.

Quote from: Curtis Kelly (of all people)
“He’s a great guy and he was a great player for us, but sometimes guys can’t handle Frank,” Kelly told the newspaper. “Guys can’t handle the way he demands. He wants the best out of you, 100 percent every time. Even though you may not be able to give it to him every time he still wants you to try. Freddy failed at that,  unfortunately.”

Interesting . . .  :ck:
