I pledge to make February 23rd "Fan Behavior Awareness Day," where we can offer up our thoughts and prayers for Jamari Traylor and remember and reflect upon the tragic actions that occurred on February 23rd, 2015.
Great idea. I heard that Traylor is going to pull through. But the psychological scars will never go away.

If every Tom, Dick & Harry with a ku t-shirt Bill Self hadn't thrown a hissy fit, the media wouldn't frankly give a single eff.
I think this is a more accurate statement. Honestly, someone should help Coach Self understand the difference between a chicken wing and a body check. ("Chicken winging" is a much more entertaining verb though.)

I will not watch the CBI, or NIT.

*unless the 'Cats are in one or the other.

I saw the dunk on the highlights last night. Very good to see him. But, when did Bill become Henry? I'm so out of touch...  :bwpopcorn: <- do we need to change this to Henry Walker?

Wooly was thought to be competitive by some fans.
Hell, Wooly even had Jason Whitlock in his corner toward the end. Jason usually hates everybody, except Jeff George.

Yep.  Wes, Tre, Foster, Nino, Gip.
I could get behind this lineup. C'mon, oscar, make it so. Edwards in for brief stints to give Wes a breather (who takes over Point? I say Nigel). Would like to see Hurt come in an spot up for more outside shots too.

I believe he had the same contract clause while he was here.
I like it. Bump it up to $50K/per and slip a clause like that into Weber's contract. For that matter, throw in an incentive for a few road wins.

To answer the OP's question. I don't see any 'sure things' on that schedule, but I doubt we lose them all. I'll probably still watch most of them. Looking at this team's wide swings in performance, they'll probably beat KU just to keep me coming back for more and then trample on my heart with a series of 1 point last second losses. Or blowouts. Very hard to predict this team!

I don't care what anybody thinks, I still like Gip as a player. He's the most JYC-iest of the 'Cats on the current roster (edges out Nino).

He had a solid line today: 19 and 7. I'm sure he knows where he could've improved today (on D and from the line), but he isn't disappointing to me.

IMHO
Losing by 11 in Lawrence would be a positive for any K-State season in the past 1025 years

greatest TV intro to a game in history

Deserves its own thread.

Big XII's request to Coach Snyder is an example of the branding police gone wild. Let the man wear the windbreakers of his choice. (but, the fan in me says that we are 1 - 0 with the new windbreaker, so Coach should probably just keep wearing it week after week)  :billdance: <= but with the new windbreaker

Wacky, can I get some help here?
Senses of humor?
Sense of humors?
Or

Better call in Kelsey Grammar on this one.

I don't like Jake
Sometimes I do, sometimes I don't.
I'm squarely in the sometimes camp too. His fumble and his (not the one TLBL owns) interception did hurt us. He threw some nice balls. The 'other' TD to Lockett doesn't get talked about enough. Jake didn't play up to his average vs. Auburn. Neither did Lockett. Neither did Cantele. If those three have an average game, we win.

How 'bout that D though?

Guys, I was just thinking. What if we had actual zebras for refs on Thursday? Would you just laugh your ass off? I would.
Very under-appreciated idea! This is how innovation happens, people. Let's try it.  :excited:

Just because....
Proud to say I was part of that storming and tear-down effort. It felt good great:ksu:  :cyclist:
I vote yes. I'm pro-fun like many others here.

Also what was up with Mangino's hair? :sdeek:
Noticed this too . . . reverse mohawk? Very unique.

Was Bo Jackson the highest paid Auburn tiger ever or with times being what they are and inflation and all, do any current or past player make more?....and is it tough to keep up with Alabama on the payroll?

all of this went down more recently than the last time auburn got hit with a major violation in any sport. flame on.
Frank Murphy's ride seems so small-timey compared to the financial feats of the SEC schools.  :th_twocents:

Very therapeutic post, kudos to CF3 for starting it up.
That being said, '98 was much worse. We were just a quarter of average football away from the MNC game. In '12 we still would've had to beat Texas (who we probably would've, maybe they get 'up' as a spoiler?).

Parsons has a freakin' newspaper?  How?
This. AND how in the world can they afford a sports writer (or is he the editor of the whole rag)?
He makes probably 22K. He's not making it rain.
Well, in the scheme of things, if #Life's biggest detractor is the sports writer in Parsons, KS (actually not a bad idea for this dude to 'make a name for himself' in going after a semi-celeb and lovable human being like DSams) . . . oh well.

KU's Little Brother             14
Whatever Malzahn decides 1??
14-1?
Would take.
Me too, but I've thought about this every which way, and I don't think you can score 1 point all by itself in football.

My serious score prediction:
Cats 38
Tigers 35
(Cantele hits the game winner and is Big XII ST POW)  :emawkid:
My my. How quickly you have forgotten the Fiesta cluster eff vs Oregon.
Partway true, That was a one point safety in favor of Oregon though, after they scored a TD. For there to be exactly 1 point scored the team being shut out has to cause a safety to occur in the opposite endzone as the extra point happened. So, unlike Oregon where we blocked it, ran it out of that endzone and then ran back in for the safety. We'd have to either block the extra point so hard it travels almost 110 yards out of the back of the other endzone, or it be like a cal-stanford in reverse and tackle their guy in the endzone, or the holder takes the snap and bolts all the way the other direction and gets himself tackled or runs out of the endzone. Regardless of the means, if that crazy crap ever happened it would happen to us  :crossfingers:
I thought we were going for an extra point. Kicked it. They recovered then we stole it back but got tackled in the endzone or something like that giving them a 1 point safety or something like that. Don't recall it exactly, but remember there being a 1 point safety.
THIS is why gE is the BEST! You can't get this kind of in-depth analysis and HFBIQ anywhere else. I stand/sit partially corrected - so the score would be 13-1 (or some variation), correct? (tbh, I was so disgusted with the Fiesta Bowl, I don't remember a whole lot about that game)
