in response to NK and Hein...

TM ran for no provoked reason. If you are neighborhood watch, isn't it your responsibility to find out what is going on?

NK... listen to the tape.

No, it's your responsibility to call the police and tell them what direction the kid is running. Pursuing the kid with a gun is assault.

isn't that what he did? He was on the phone before TM ran. You are not very good at life.

Yeah. He identified a suspicious person. Then he phoned the police. Then he chased him down with a gun and killed him. Two things right and only one thing wrong.

chased him down

That's funny, because if you would actually listen to the tape, you can conclude that this "chase" is non-existent.

At the end of the tape...

I don't even know where he is

Who has an issue with individuals having the legal authority to defend themselves?

Everyone that thinks Zimmerman should be in jail.

Last I checked, following someone because you're part of a neighborhood watch is not illegal.  Following someone because they're black, although a dick move, is not illegal. Approaching someone to ask what they're doing, regardless of what police dispatch suggest you do, is not illegal.

On the other hand, TM punching Zimmerman in the face in response was illegal. Taking someone to the ground and MMA style face smashing them is illegal.   Telling someone they're going to die as they slam their head into a curb is illegal.

Zimmerman used excessive force to defend himself in a situation that was completely of his own creation, though.

Holy crap. If the stuff reported herein is true, then the media snowjob was even worse than I thought. A whole lot worse. Evidence in droves that GZ was anything but a racist, and almost as much evidence that TM was seriously messed up. Couldn't believe that part about the skittles and "ice tea" ingredients, backed up by the web postings and autopsy report.

"It's called journalism..."

captain fat-ass (Zimmerman) states in the final moments of the call to police that "I don't don't know where he is" and the call ends. Sometime after, the two end up in a altercation. Do people really believe that captain fat-ass could chase down this kid? The lack of critical-thinking skills being displayed by a mass is unbelievable, but then again, no it is not.

the "gigantic fatass" angle seemed to be a very effective strategy, given that people don't seem/want to realize he told the police he weighed 194 lbs the night this all went down.

Trayvon Martin - 17yo
6'0+ - 160lb

Your critical-thinking skills are on display...

There is a large number of senior citizens in Florida. So, instead of taking a chance of being mugged/beaten/killed, etc., you can just shoot a mf'er if you feel threatened. It's for octogen's...

Perhaps, the judge hates the SYG law and hammered the instructions to the jury knowing that GZ would walk because of it. Sinister bitch, right there!

(This case is classic self-defense, btw.)

The law itself is questionable, and deserves debate, but what many are missing is that the Zimmerman/Martin case is not SYG.

61
the kid should've called 911 if he was so threatened, or just run from the fat-ass.

and, like how did GZ get those cuts on the back of his head and his nose crushed? Weird...

speaking of LBJ, let's take a look at the USS Liberty situation.

LBJ was a POS.

And edn, no s#!t on the politicians having a hand in growing the MIC. You think it was about "bases in their home district"?

I bet racist toe gets really steamed watching carstop videos on youtube.

my chime in on the subject... fwiw.

I live in one of the biggest cities in the country, and have noticed within the last few months that the local PD and PD at the institution that I work at have been making changes to their uniforms and vehicles. The uniforms were the first thing I noticed... from a light blue button down top and black pants, to an all black uniform. I asked one of the officers that I speak regularly with what was up with the change... his response - "Homeland Security is giving us funding to match up with other departments."

A couple of weeks ago, I was walking in to grab lunch when three city officers were walking out, and I nonchalantly asked "whats up with the new paint schemes on some of the cars?" (they have changed from blue and white to black and white) One of the officers responded that there was no announcement, and they kind of just showed up with no real explanation. He was hesitant in his reaction and seemed uneasy with the question... I will admit that I was fishing for an answer, so any hesitation would seem exaggerated.

My point in all of this... the whole idea of blurring/blending the municipalities through funding by DHS is concerning.

"The essential act of war is destruction, not necessarily human lives, but the products of human labor.  War is a way of shattering to pieces, or pouring into the stratosphere, or sinking to the depths of the sea, materials that might otherwise be used to make masses too comfortable, and hence, in the long run, too intelligent."

That was written over 60 years ago; and likely has been thought about over and over again through every decline of every major empire through out history.  These are not new ideas.

"War is a racket. It always has been. It is possibly the oldest, easily the most profitable, surely the most vicious. It is the only one international in scope. It is the only one in which the profits are reckoned in dollars and the losses in lives. A racket is best described, I believe, as something that is not what it seems to the majority of the people. Only a small "inside" group knows what it is about. It is conducted for the benefit of the very few, at the expense of the very many. Out of war a few people make huge fortunes. In the World War a mere handful garnered the profits of the conflict. At least 21,000 new millionaires and billionaires were made in the United States during the World War. That many admitted their huge blood gains in their income tax returns. How many other war millionaires falsified their tax returns no one knows."

JFK has a fantastic speech on Secret Societies. I think it would be good for some of you to listen to our last president talk about the danjas of such societies.

Just before leaving office, Eisenhower warned about the rise of the Military Industrial Complex. Ironically enough, Kennedy takes office and does not want to escalate the Vietnamese conflict... Bang... LBJ takes over the reins and perpetual war breaks out. If you really want to get funky, research the USS Liberty...

This guy believes in a worldwide Jewish conspiracy.

are you saying that these events didn't occur? I can understand if you have an argument for JFK, but be honest with yourself.

I have to admit, the Obama of 2007 was a smooth talker, and I can agree with alot of the content of his speeches. But the change in tone over his years in office is what is disturbing...

Perhaps this has some relevancy in the Bilderberg thread.
