Yeah they proved that in the first matchup. 

It's hard to interest viewers in games played in flyover country, apparently.

Manhattan is not flyover country, friend.     Lawrence is.

The Octagon of Doom doesn't need any more seats.  Would just make it less Doomifying because they wouldn't habitually be full.  Plus, the most hostile arenas are the small ones.  Remember Gallagher-Iba when it was, like, 6,000?  Ridiculously terrifying.

I'm sure expanding Bramlage seating capacity is the last thing on their minds.

They would rather have children who drive around in Bentleys than have 12,000 fans in a seat. I mean, you guys are wearing purple and all... thats rough on the eyes!!

How do you fit 12,000 fans in one seat?

This thread is dumb.

1)  Low populated Manhattan, KS

2)  Should probably pack non-conference games before we even sniff the idea.

Considering that Ahearn fieldhouse originally held 14,000 in 1940 the population argument doesn't really work against expansion.

People not filling the arena...that argument works.

Yeah, they also played like 8 home games a season, not 45 like we do now.

DID YOU KNOW!  The original proposal of Bramlage called for 17,000 seats.  Thank f***ing God that didn't happen.  Was a horrible idea then, is a horrible idea now.

samuels > kelly by a long shot as tia/imo.  kelly could be really good too but hates contact (soft).

I'm with you on this.  Samuels draws contact, gets to the line, and finishes (needs more work on FTs but he's improving).  Has pretty good range too.  I think Frank is training him to be the vocal team leader once Pullen leaves.

How do you figure his FTs are improving?

Looks like I may of have made that part up  .  Maybe I just don't seem to cringe as much when hes at the line because they are less crucial in some of our games.

A) there's so much white space (or gray space) around every post, and

Everything is huge.  Make it tiny and more readable like on ksufans.com and I'm yours for life.  Also, the emoticons are slightly too big and therefore blurry. 

PLEASE FIX IT SO I CAN COME HERE REGULARLY.
