Also, lol@them trying to claim it as the birthplace, or trying to claim Naismith as a native Kansan (or that Naismith even invented the game, for that matter).  Reminds me of when Dr. Spaceman and I stopped in Delphos, KS. to see the monument they erected to Grace Bidell, the little girl who wrote Lincoln a letter suggesting that he grow a beard.  The town touts her as their most significant resident.  "Hey look!  We have the girl who inspired Lincoln to grow his beard!  She lived RIGHT HERE in Delphos!...................................after moving here from New York in her thirties.

Between losing Daniel Thomas, having everyone blaming Coffman for last year's shortcomings, and having Sams waiting in the wings like the rough ridin' Beatles ready to rock out on the Ed Sullivan show,  Tuggle is pretty much mumped if we don't win the Big 8.

Also, I have to admit, this rickdaris team queso talking point is getting into my head. We lost 4 games last year where we scored 42, 28, 36 and 34 points (although part of me gives credit to Snyder as an offensive coach for driving that team without a clutch). I'm still not convinced Queso was a good QB, but I'm increasingly convinced that saying that a better QB would have won us more games is like saying the ship wouldn't have sunk if we would have bailed water faster.

Yeah, I may be in the process of being swayed, as well.
