Loving this thread.

So who here has actually lived in the South?

2 years.  came away with 2 racist thoughts.

Most black people down there you see on a daily basis are lazy as all hell, and i can understand why people don't like government programs.  And 2, the white racist parents who hate blacks, they have kids (white) calling each other the name which shall not be named starts with N and ends with iga.  While black dudes call each other kracker.

Loving this thread.

So who here has actually lived in the South?

Spent the last 3 years in Baton Rouge, which is about as segregated a city as I could ever imagine.

14753
Except white people in the south are also extremely scared of black people too.

There are also two in Minneapolis, which will be great for fiveguyspak when we join the Big 10.

And who cares if they have a plaque memorializing the war that is a part of their history?

Awesome missing of the point, way to go, kid!   :emawkid:  The reason for the anecdote was not that they have a monument dedicated to the Civil War (because if it were just that, who cares?).  The point was that the plaque goes out of its way to laughably refer to the Civil War as "The war on Northern aggression," which is how dipshits in the south refer to it when they want to make excuses for slavery.

14756
On the grounds of the Mississippi capitol in Jackson, they legit have a monument whose plaque reads that it was dedicated "to commemorate the war on Northern aggression."

(Here's where racist EMAWs try to tell me the Civil War was really just about states' rights, and slavery had nothing to do with it, and history teachers are all liberals.)

You have to respect the eff out of the Cross Timber Gazette's aggresive ad placement to the right of that piece.

Holy crap.

As far as I can tell, there is no drug you can take to reduce your risk.

Except Aspirin you medical jerk/pharmacy turkey!

It is more about avoiding the risk factors (if possible).  Pancreatic adenocarcinoma (the most common type of pancreatic cancer) is resistant to current chemotherapies.

"Risk factors include (1) smoking (3x the normal risk), (2) exposure to chemicals (the disease is supposedly more common among both chemists and garage workers), (3) hereditary pancreatitis (huge risk), and (4) some of the anti-oncogene deletion syndromes. (5) Obesity is also supposed to be an independent risk factor that somehow promotes the growth (Surgery 146: 258, 2009)." -pathguy

Pretty sure soda won't hurt ur pancreas.

Yeah right, sounds super fake, get out of here with your pretend doctor's papers you big fat phony.

"Glory Of Love" from the Karate Kid II soundtrack by Peter Cetera.

Grumblings that Dr. Spaceman introduced this song to Skin Ben after Dodgeball are absolutely true.   :bracketmouse:

Actually am pretty meh about The Killers most of the time, but this song is .  Same with "Andy, You're A Star."

Get to it, fats.  UNLESS YOU'RE NOT MAN ENOUGH/TOO WASHED UP TO RECAPTURE YOUR FORMER MAGIC???

Turf will be in use long after OB is gone so do not think he will get much say in it esp the endzones. Admin will not pass up a branding opportunity

Let's just say, there is one person dictating the design of the field and he possesses zero design qualification and he's really old and curmudgeony.

but, but, but he commissioned the designed of the POWERCAT!

actually.... he didn't even do that.... he just said, we should design a new logo.... which I wouldn't even swear he did that.  He was just here when it happened.

Doesn't he at least get credit for telling the guy to completely rip off the Iowa Hawkeye?

14772
All good choices, but none mention reasoning so try again, losers.   :dubious:

Yours was no snooze cruise.  The music choice was good.  But man, All These Things That I've Done is just such an increds. song.  And as you said, there can never be too many Pullen tribute vids, right?   :dunno:

Plus, yours had nothing about having soul/not being a soldier.

OMFG.

"WHEN EVERYONE'S LOST!.....THE BATTLE IS WON....................WITH ALL THESE THINGS THAT IIIIIII'VE DONE."

Can you picture how amazing it would be when the song gets to this big climactic part?  What Jake footage should fatty use when it gets there?  Xavier shots?  Standing on the press table after beating KU?  THE FAKE TO BREAK THE RECORD???????

....was kind of joking with this thread because I know fatty's a deadbeat bbs'er now, but SOMEBODY has got to do this.  Loved the original big Pullen tribute vid right after the Wisconsin game, but man, the music could have been so much better/more dramatic.

14775
And what is your reasoning?  I think The Killers' "All These Things That I've Done."  Amazing song (that fatty should make a Pullen video to) with a real climax and triumphant "looking back" feel.
