Kansas State Football / A Message to Sean Snyder
« on: September 27, 2011, 10:49:51 AM »
Sean,

As a devoted K-State Wildcat fan, I have been sickened by the garbage your special teams units have trotted out onto the field in these first 3 games. I believe you are creating this problem by not playing your best players. Now, I'm not too keen on believing everything I read on message boards, but all I read about last summer was that Tate was a ball player and that I should expect to see him flying around on special teams. Unfortunately, your sorry ass won't play him, so I'm not seeing him fly around anything but the sideline to go grab water for the guys on the field. I don't care if Tate made you angry by throwing a big keg party last summer while you were out of town pretending to recruit. I don't care if he took your car out for a joy ride and didn't bother refilling the gas tank. I sure as hell don't care if you have a problem with Tate rolling with the boys from east Manhattan and egging Deb's house. Take a cue from your old man. Handle your crap in-house and make sure your players play.

Tate Snyder for Special Teams.

The townies should pay for it.

JFC, those guys might not win a game next year.

Kansas State Football / Tribute to Old People Who Should Just Quit
« on: July 05, 2011, 11:16:01 PM »
This is a thread for posting videos of old people who contribute nothing to society but still try to live off of crap they did 20+ years ago. Just quit already.

AC/DC, you have old, wrinkly balls and you should GTFO the stage. :dubious:

The New Joe Montgomery Birther Pit / Year Round School

This isn't a bad article, considering the guy is a sports journalist. I would be all for year round education, as long as our government steps up and increases teachers' salaries to compensate for the additional days.

After this season is all said and done, who will hold the title of worst starting QB to ever lace up his cleats for Kansas State?

Collin Klein, Sam Lamur, and Justin Tuggle are currently waging a cripple fight to see who will get to start against Eastern Kentucky. If the winner of this battle manages to hold on to the starting spot for the full season, he could very possibly be the worst wildcat starter ever.

Jeff Schwinn led the best team in the Big 12 to a home loss against Marshall. 'nuff said.

Dylan Meier showed some flashes of not being completely terrible, but for the most part, he was horrible.

Carson Coffman gets a ton of hate around here for reasons I don't quite understand, so I put him on the poll.

Allan Evridge was horrible. This cannot be argued, but I personally don't think he was the worst ever.

Other Sports (Tiger's Back) / Josh Hamilton is a pussy

Throw your third base coach under the bus because the only way you could avoid the tag is to slide head first. Jesus, this guy plays baseball for a living. Sometimes in baseball, you have to slide head first. What a pussy.

Essentially Flyertalk / Nosy Neighbors
« on: April 08, 2011, 01:07:59 PM »
Does anybody else have to deal with this? If so, how do you deal with it?

I had a neighbor show up at my door yesterday to tell me that my yard wasn't green enough and that I was driving his property value down. I told him he should go grow cucumbers and eff himself. Did I handle this correctly, or should I have done something different?

Thanks.

Apparently enslaving Mexicans only gets you 60 days of house arrest.

What strategies do you guys use when filling out tournament brackets? Do you always pick who you think will win to advance, or do you try to predict huge upsets? I usually go in with the mentality that I will predict a bunch of upsets because I know most people in the pool don't predict very many. This year, I'm having trouble finding a lot of upsets I can get behind because the field is so weak.

Essentially Flyertalk / Random Awesome Things You Have Walked Into
« on: March 11, 2011, 10:49:43 PM »
I was on vacation in Copenhagen, and one night I decided to go to Tivoli Gardens to get trashed, sing Karaoke, and ride the rides. As I was walking out of one of the bars, I noticed that thousands of people were gathering around the stage. I asked some lady what was going on. The lady looked at me like I was Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!), and told me that Medina was about to come on. I had no idea who Medina was, but I turned around and there was a wall of people behind me all the way to the back of the park, so I decided to stick around and watch the show. She only sang one song in English, but the show was pretty sweet, nonetheless.

Presbyterian. When you coast against crap teams, it's harder to turn it on for the good teams (see Pullen).
