Good grief do either of you own an iron  :sdeek:

Look at the millennial not knowing an iron would melt the crap out of that jersey if I put an iron within 50 feet of it.
I don't want to insert myself into this argument but I just want to let you know at first glance I thought that jersey read RAT All Stars, which would have been pretty cool.

Man, I love him so much. Someone needs to tell him that he can and should be getting paid to do that.

Part of what makes this special is because he doesn't get paid.  Why ruin it?  He'll get his payday soon enough.  Lord.
Yes! Jesus Christ - if we are getting to the point of appearance fees for 10-year old birthday parties than y'all can eff right off.

I live in overland Park.  Ummmm, I like the new whataburger s.  It rained a bunch yesterday.

Looking to get back into strength training after more than 2 years off. I’m older, feeling older and am out of shape. Plan on 5x5 (prob stronglifts).

Former lifts 5x

Squat 365 (form prob suspect that heavy)
DL 385
Bench 295
Row 240 (probs with grip)
OHP 185

How light/heavy should I start after so much time off?

Go very light

OMG I could feel my long-unused thighs/quads being destroyed with very light weight.

Worked way up to 225 on squat, but no way I can do 5x5 w that weight. Same w 185 for bench.

So far it looks like

Squat 185 at most
Bench 165 at most
OHP 95 at most

Prob lighter.
Ha!  I have started/stopped lifting more than anyone on this blog and it is ridiculous how painful recovering from the first workout is.  I used to start @ 185 for bench but now I pretend I am a freshman in high school again and start @ 135.

Anyone else watching WILLOW!!!
I am a couple of epi's in. It definitely suffers from the absence of Madmartigan.  Willow's goofy ass can't carry the show by himself, but we will see!

Watched these the past couple of weeks. I enjoyed them all and ranked them in my order of preference.

Nope (5/7) - This ranks at the top because I like Sci Fi movies a lot. I expected the scenes with the monkey to give me nightmares but so far so good.
Vengeance (5/7) - This wasn't what I was expecting, but I enjoyed it nonetheless.
Smile (4/7) - I like horror movies and I thought it was good in that respect, but overall it wasn't that great.
How can anyone trust your opinion on anything ever again?

I though of a new angle to put 'Nope' in perspective -  it would be M. Night Shyamalan's worst movie if he had made it.

How many other hostages does russia have besides grinder and wheelman?

Marc Fogel
Fogel, a history teacher from Pittsburgh who taught the children of U.S. diplomats abroad, was detained in Moscow in August 2021. He had with him a small amount of medical marijuana he used for chronic back pain.

In June, Fogel, 61, was sentenced to 14 years at a labor camp.

The federal government has not designated Fogel as wrongfully detained.

There's another chick who is not in prison but they won't let her leave for some reason, involved in a domestic dispute.

Post the AI fan-fic, Fedor. Let’s see this beaut
It was a request to CHONGS.  I don't have access to ChatGPT.

John was a mediocre attorney who was trying to make a name for himself in the legal world. He wanted to make a splash, but he wasn't quite sure how to go about it.

One day, he had an idea. He decided to try to make some friends on a rival's sports message board by using puns. He figured it was a harmless way to make a name for himself and have a bit of fun.

So, he started posting puns on the message board. He made puns about the rival team's players, coaches, and even their home stadium. He thought that it was a clever way to make some friends and get his name out there.

At first, he got some laughs, but it didn't take long for the other message board members to catch on to what he was doing. They started calling him out and bashing him for his attempts at humor.

John was embarrassed and decided to give up on the idea. He figured that he had made a fool of himself and that he would just go back to trying to make a name for himself through hard work and dedication.

But, surprisingly, after a few weeks he started to notice that some of the members on the message board had really taken a liking to him. They started inviting him to join in on their conversations and even went out of their way to help him out.

John was surprised, but also very pleased. He had managed to make some friends on the rival's sports message board, all through the power of puns. He was now known as the "pun king" on the message board, and he had made some great connections that could help him in his legal career in the future.

amazing
Not a single pun, AI has some work to do to replace the talented youngsters here.

Also ftr I also had Orange Julius Brents and Felix Anudike-Umatzah but CF said they didn't work syllabically. Also I'm gonna transfer those over to the original Qat Players Who Are Food, Too thread to keep a comprehensive list for posterity. Great work from WonderMeal. Bud I'm not saying this to rub it in, but I've never been on the inside, so I'm not sure how often they let you get online. I'm guessing those moments are short and fleeting, and you've got to keep in touch with your family first and foremost, but whenever they give you some spare time online, please remember to check in on your pals at gE from time to time and let us know how it's going.

I know you're only allotted a certain number of visitors per month, but let me know if you ever want your old bud SB to pop in to say hello, or if I can bring you anything (if that's allowed). PM if you'd rather not talk about this publicly. You've been pretty open about your sentence on FB though so I just assumed, but lemme know if you want me to delete this.
I was tuned out from this board for a while but what the hell?

No need for me to apologize.  While I was not overly enthusiastic, I know the Klie-man won multiple championships as both coordinator and head coach.  Most importantly the success continued after he ascended so it was likely he was the secret sauce all along.

It will probably depend on who gets their asses kicked less by England to determine who gets out of the group.

i've always appreciated how willing you are to change your mind when circumstances warrant.
