Can somebody tell me how Will was mistreated?  Twitter doesn't count.

He wabash’d like a complete loser.

Super low effort.  Probably slacks off at most things, including core strengthening.  Coaches noticed and backed off.

I thought Ryan Gilbert did a prediction or whatever.

He did, but then he flipped it to Duke today once he figured out he was wrong.

I have a code for free MLS Season pass, dm if you want it. Please don't dm me if you're someone who's a casual that only watches a couple of matches a year. This code is worth either $80 if you're an apple tv+ subscriber or $100 if you're not. I want to give this to someone who watches matches but hasn't paid yet.

This is a different team when Tomlin and Desi are playing aggressively.

This feels like what happens when an apparel company lays off all of their designers because the CEO's son told them that ChatGPT and DALL-E could easily replace them.

I used to dislike the two-tones, so I went back and looked.  Sure enough, they were total crap.  Look at these cheap screen printed jerseys Nike stuck us with.

Found this from Gazette.com

You’re going to hear about Barnett down the road. You can count on one hand the number of college football prospects in Colorado more coveted than him, and you might need only a couple fingers. Couple months ago the 6-foot-1, 210-pound sprinter – yes, he barreled across the finish line — took an unofficial visit to the University of Georgia, college football’s reigning national champs. He’s taken an unofficial to CU-Boulder, and the Buffs should get on that. Colorado State, Kansas State, Oregon State, Washington and Kansas offered full-ride scholarships to play football. So the star quarterback prospect from Colorado is also the sixth-fastest high school kid in Colorado, taking into account the 5A 100-meter results. All that college football interest arrived before he won a state sprinting title and before he plays two more seasons of high school football for state title contenders at Erie. We’ll be watching Barnett play football on Saturdays.

“And on Sundays,” he predicted again.

6'2", 220lbs, really fast, hard to tackle, big arm.  The kid looks good.  He doesn't jump off the screen when you watch his tape like Avery does, but the upside potential is there.

I kind of like the anger at every little thing. It might not inspire better play on the court but I do think it subconsciously weighs on the refs over the course of the game.

Bill Self (and plenty of other good coaches) basically do the same thing by constantly being in the ref’s ear.

The end of the OSU game was a prime example of this.

Just in the interest of balanced airtime, it isn't just Cat fans who act like deranged nutjobs when the Dillon's is on the line:

LOL forgot about that one. Both about how stupid and childish it made Nate appear, and on the other hand how Keitzman used it to try and fire him. Amazing times.

In the end, Tim Cook ended up firing him from Sporting KC telecasts.  Nice job Tim!

He doesn't do sporting kc anymore?

Apple TV is now the main broadcast partner for MLS and they'll have their own team of announcers.  I could see him doing the radio feed possibly.

Apple and Major League Soccer released a list of on-air broadcasters for the upcoming 2023 season. MLS Season Pass on the Apple TV app will be the new home to American soccer beginning next month.

Studio talent will be led by Liam McHugh, Jilian Sakovits and Tony Cherchi for Spanish viewers. The trio joins former MLS stars-turned-analysts Sacha Kljestan, Bradley Wright-Phillips and Diego Valeri.

Are people really still stumping for oscar?

It's shtick, but unfortunately it's not funny shtick.

16
What exactly do you want him to say that would connote buy in?

Pretty much anything other than... If God wants me somewhere else, then I'll be somewhere else.

I don't think it's controversial to say that it wasn't exactly reassuring, but none of us have any idea what's actually in his head or whether it means anything at all.  Mostly it's just damn good bbs'ing material.

Mods, please note this thread is no longer featuring the ksu cats

Not true.  I’m a huge Tang fan, but I’m not sure if it’s a great plan to criticize fans for not buying in enough and then say this.

Gonzaga does not have a good enough brand for the Big 12.
They’re the second biggest basketball brand the day they join

Yeah, I'd say:

1. Baylor
2. Zaga
3. Kansas
4. Texas Tech
5. Kansas State
6. Houston

Beyond that is basically a wash.

Honestly, you could just end that list after #4.

I had no idea, but that's almost always the case with championships unless it's my team.

I love flag waving Willie and I love white helmets, but I understand why some of the players weren't jumping out of their chairs after seeing our cutest smiling cartoon logo on their helmet.  It's not exactly a tough look. I'll reserve judgement until I see them on the field.

I've had this one for about 6 months...

Works well and the 1 gallon tank is a necessity. We use it constantly.  The water you use will almost always dictate how long it lasts, how often you have to clean it, and how good the ice is.

QT is a gas station.  You shouldn't be eating at a gas station just because they have a spotless kitchen and friendly associates.  If possible, fill up at Costco and then drive to a respectable restaurant. Use your gas savings to buy real food.

I've watched meaningful sports in that building, I used to enroll at that building so many years ago. I camped out for basketball tickets there, played basketball in there, a lot. I worked at the Natatorium, line judged Big 12 and team USA Volleyball in that building. When it's gone, I won't miss a solitary thing about it. crap building, I'm glad the volleyball team is gone, can't wait for indoor track to join them.

Good riddance

I agree.  It's an ugly, unwelcoming POS that's taking up a huge chunk of prime real estate on campus.  Hopefully the natatorium goes with it and they repurpose that entire block.
