goEMAW(and formerly ksufans) always gets like this with coaching hires.  get on the bandwagon or get out of the way.  happened with venzy when snyder retired, huggins when he was hired, patterson when prince was fired, and to a lesser extent with frank just to keep grcoat.  (totally worth it btw.)  this time it started with pearl before we were basically told from both sides it wasn't going to happen at this time.  i've been on basically all those bandwagons too, because they are (or were at the time) pretty good candidates.

not this time friends.  i can't jump on board a bandwagon for a guy with no coaching experience at all.  risk is just too high. 

i will now go join ira's lunchtable in the corner.

I laughed because it's funny, and then I cried because there's a good chance KSU screws this up and we don't get moments like that for a long time.

i may have undervalued the influence of the tucks.  they were definitely on #teamcurrie in this whole frank vs currie war.  frank is gone, and currie is still employed.

If Boyle is realistic(still not convinced,) I really like him.  Seems like we should hold a lot of advantages over Colorado - Fan Support, Facilities, Higher Pay, but I'm still not confident.  When's the last time K-State hired a big conference HC away?

We're much more the type to hire an assistant or damaged goods HC.

I'm sorry, he is in the bottom tier.  The judges have spoken on his dumb/loser ass.

I think I agree with this.  The Huggs thing stung, but made sense.  What happened with Frank and Currie is absolute nonsense.
