I think we score between 31-38 if Howard doesn't turn the ball over.

Rents due [redacted]We could solve all our funding problems if we started charging rent for all the real estate we own in your dome pieces, lmao.I charge rent for my brain space, so.....
Do you have a written lease I can examine to back up your claim?
No written proof, then? I'm sorry, but the 38-year lease you've given KU in your dome piece is not enforceable unless in writing. Sorry, but that's the statute of frauds for you. That means KU is now a tenant at will, and on behalf of KU please accept our notice of intent to vacate. We owe you one month's rent. PM me your address and I'll send payment for FMV of the real estate for 1 month.
That's a fun stat.
Also, without looking at the numbers (and wondering how Wes Miller will do at Cincy), I feel like the nu nu B12 will be a really damn good bball league, minus UCF.
(hilarious for me to say with how much crap K-State has sucked the last few years)
It's been talked about I think in another thread but yes, it should make the basketball be even better. Texas hasn't done really anything or the better part of a decade, and now that Lonnie is gone at OU, like, I'm kinda not joking, does either school even care about basketball anymore?
Texas has the best college basketball coach in America.
Honestly, do they have more "resources"??? Well, this is the same fanbase that believes the big 10 is their destiny and that Lawrence is a suburb of KC so...
lol, no, not even close. The harder to recruit to Manhattan is also hilarious to me. They legit think a kid from Dallas would seriously think Lawrence is some metropolis and Manhattan is a cow town. Like those grain elevators in Lawrence don't exist. These people have never been outside of Kansas or Missouri. To the rest of the country there's little to no difference between Manhattan and Lawrence.
QuoteAfter watching today its kind of hard to be optimistic about winning against Duke, Tech and ksu is probably our only chance.
Unfortunately, ksu is probably a two touchdown favorite against us even with their back up QB playing, I hope by next year that's not the case anymore, we 've got to at worst reach their level if we're going to turn this program around anytime soon, got to get local kids back to wanting to play for KUQuoteWhat amazes me is we are now 13+ years of pure suckage while ksu with less recourses, less money, aa tougher place to recruit and before Snyder had the worst football history all time, and yet they can put together competitive teams year in and year out sometimes with lower rated recruiting classes then KU, while KU is garbage every single year, just doesn't make any sense too me, I'm aware they have a huge advantage in the coaching department but they put together decent seasons almost every single year despite finishing last or near the bottom of the conference in recruiting almost every single year, you would figure the law of average would catch up too them eventually and they would stumble into a couple of two or three win seasons and KU would stumble into a 4/5 win season once every couple of years, Guess the football gods really hate KU
Nevada quarterback made some elite throws
Dear god be threw one into quadruple coverage on 3rd and long that made my jaw drop.
This was right in front of me and it was unreal. Remember when I said that Mahomes was the best quarterback I've ever seen and he would be a NFL quarterback? I do! Well Carson Strong is the best passer I've ever seen. He's clearly not as athletic as Mahomes, but as a pure passer he's as good as I've ever seen. That bomb he hit was also very well defended but he dropped it in there, perfectly. He's athletic enough and moved in the pocket well, had good pocket awareness. He's much better than Rattler.
IMO I really don't think Rattler is that good, or at least he is way too risky with his passes. It's good to know this Strong guy is probably the best QB we'll face all year.
Strong is a classic 6’6” pro-style statue with a howitzer hanging off his shoulder. He’s tailor-made for the nfl, but imo probably easier for a good college defense to defend than a guy like Rattler.
Bullshit. Strong makes throws that no other college QB can make and he's mobile enough. The two big passing plays they made one of them was perfectly defended, the third & long, and the bomb was defended well enough to be picked against most college QBs.
Taters won again. WIth a backup QB!?!?! GD it all to H3LL. If this dude Kleanman is another Snyder, I swear, we better get into the BIG so we can put that program behind us. This is getting rediculous.
After one quarter Baylor has 159 total yards, KU has -8
It's all fan wanking nonsense, but to my eye Howard just doesn't have "it" right now. Not sure I could explain it, but the offense seems nervous with him on the field.
TIL that split-level homes are considered trashy or lesser than other homes. I've never lived in one but I feel like I've been in some nice ones. Upon Googling it appears they are cheaper to build due to a lack of excavation and need for retaining walls so maybe that's where the perception comes from?
There are a crap-load of them in Olathe. JOCOs look down their noses at Olathites, or at least they used to.
Will has only thrown two pick sixes in his entire career, I doubt he throws two in the first two possessions Saturday!
Colorado, Utah, Arizona, Arizona State would be the wetwillie wet dream
If they continue to not be publicly committed to the conference, the Board of Governors should 100% Temple them. I mean what do they offer that Memphis doesn't? Not kidding ether.
According to the Big 12 Bylaws -
"A Member (a “Withdrawing Member”) may Withdraw, or shall be deemed to have Withdrawn, as a Member of the Conference: (i) if it gives notice of the intent to Withdraw to the Conference; or (ii) if a Supermajority of Disinterested Directors by affirmative vote determines that such Member: (A) makes statements or takes actions that are determined by a Supermajority of Disinterested Directors to evidence the intent of such Member to withdraw from the Conference either currently or in the future; ... or (D) if a Member otherwise takes or fails to take actions that are determined by a Supermajority of Disinterested Directors to be contrary to the best interests of the Conference taken as a whole."
It seems to me that with the AD out there blabbing that they'd jump ship at a moment's notice if they could that it would definitely be easy to tell them not to let the door hit them in the butt on the way out.
“What will happen here is that the BIG XII will expand to 14 teams and this will cause paranoia in the big 10 Conference and to counter that they will steal Kansas. Goff and Girod know how the game works.”
