Years upon years of opportunity to do this project at 1/3 the price.
Then tearing down an historic structure to build a value engineered MLS'ified stadium that is not in keeping architecturally with anything on their campus . . . it's just a tragedy.
I'm also hearing rumblings that the general rake of the stands will be more fitting for futbol viewership and not American Football viewership. Apparently Cliff wants to see that Lawrentucky hosts some WC practices.
I know you are going to take this the wrong way but it's a genuine question, what is the rake difference between the two sports?
You didn't address me on this, but it reminded me that I saw this on Phog the other day:
To be honest I do not see any appreciable difference in rake vs the old stadium, this image does illustrate how much closer the end zone seats will be though.
(I mean I guess the rake is a little steeper in the upper deck, but that is SOP, so I guess I'm not quite sure what he's on about)
