Jerome Tang Coaches Kansas State Basketball / Re: next season

i hope we suck ass again so oscar can get the eff out of here

Come on tater, have pity on us old K-State fans.  We want to win NOW, not start over.  What really sucks is filling out brackets with no team named Kansas State. Let's not repeat this next year.

With the possibility of 3 players coming in at 6'8" or better AND the return of 6'9" DJamer, I am once again optimistic. Also a new point guard @ 6'2". Man, we are going to have some trees down low. Yes, I know some trees are known as "ornamentals", a.k.a. Big Meat, but I can dream. If we return to seasons with more than 20 wins and NCAA bids, I could learn to live with oscar.

Could be worse, we could have the current Illini coach.

well, outside of foster brooks and frazier haven't recruited for crap so I'm all for cleaning house

Foster Brooks is one of our recruiters, I had no idea!! I thought he died a long time ago. ;)

I have no idea what this means but I like your style catman

I think Foster Brooks was a Kentucky alum.

Big 2nd half: oscar vs Hugs.

So, this pretty much confirms that Westicles is our best ball handler, huh?

Wow, I didn't know he had that game. 2nd coming of Rolando? Need to pull this out. Greal experience for our new guys. Toughness, toughness, toughness.

59
How dare he !! Point finger at lunatic fringe on this board !!  I am appalled !!

what is wrong with our students?
clownasses

You'll like it once you get to college. It's hard to explain

Strong point, great observation.

I'm not sure oscar's doghouse cost us the OSU game but it may have cost us the Georgia game.

And this is the end of the story if we pretend MF2's attitude and effort hasn't changed since the benching...
ppl always wanna point at what oscar isn't doing. I like to look at the other side. What a turnaround. This guy can coach!

I agree Wack. They play to well when oscar can keep their heads screwed on straight.

why is your username "catman2" then?  obviously you tried just "catman" but decided on 2 because that was available.  why not pick something like "notacatman"?

Knew I should have gone with Kathmandu.

angel won us our first big12 basketball title in like 50 years. not sure why a person who considers themselves to be a cat fan could hate the guy that did that.

I don't "consider" myself a Cat fan, I am a Cat fan and hate no one. I watched Miami beat Illinois and rooted for Angel. Great to see Miami win. He is a good basketball player and wish him success. Just thought it was odd a non-Wildcat deserved his own topic line.

There are some people on here that with the slightest tug on their chain, rocket into orbit.

Alright catman2, I'll be at the statue at 1230 today. Make sure you bring a sack lunch

Sorry I couldn't meet up, in Chicago today.  Maybe see you at our NCAA first round game.

Sharing your opinion is fine in all cases, as long as you are prepared to be mocked for it being stupid. Not all opinions are equally valid.

If that was for me 8man, no prob.

K-State has players better than "turn-over" Angel sitting on the bench.
It was more for SDK, but that's fine for you to say. He'll be first team ACC by the time he graduates though
Also, the idea that we have better players on the bench is so rough ridin' stupid I would think you were a sock if you had a better username.

Wow,,,,, such tough talk, I suspect you weren't a communications major and that is a big assumption on my part, that you did go to college. More like, hang in there, almost everyone passes 8th grade.

As for a player on the bench, Nigel Johnson spends more time there than the floor. Take a look at his stats sometime, assists and steals. Would rather have him.

Didn't realize there were so many Angel lovers here. My take is: If you don't want to be a Kansas State University Wildcat, leave and good riddance. Don't let the door hit you in the ass.  I could care less if he scores another point.

Post The 5th Year QB We Will Get To Transfer To EMAW ITT

Really? You expect a QB who after 4 years is not good enough to start where he is currently enrolled to come to KSU, learn the offense (spring/summer) and be a factor..please.  That is FCS level thinking.

Taking our chances with Snyder directing the strongest armed QB we've had in a long time, Bazooka Joe, is by far the best choice.
who exactly is he going to throw it to? snyder will use BJ's legs far more effectively.

ESU, I thought we were discussing QB's.  Wide receiver is another story.

winning with slowdown pleases the Web fans, trending now very, very low scoring game the rest of the season, feeling a 35 point night at Allen Fieldhouse

So you would have rather seen the 'Cats score 90 on Saturday and lose?  Being ahead at the end game pleases Web fans and true Wildcat fans.
We don't G-A-S about the score.

"Who should replace oscar Weber?"  I want to apologize for posting here by mistake.  I have since found out this is a topic line is for clueless dip$h1ts with delusions of granduer.

Fake SD, I like you already, so glad to see some common sense. oscar Weber is a good coach.

Many delusional whiners on here. I guess, even with a knowledgeable fan base, you will have some loudmouth dip$4its.  Pissclams - Exhibit A.

Sadly, Weber ain't going nowhere. Wish he would have recruited kids smart enough to grasp his motion offense.  When he coached Deron Williams, Dee Brown and Luther Head at Illinois, it was a pleasure to watch them run it. Sometimes they looked like the Harlem Globetrotters playing the Washington Generals. He even had players good enough to run it at Southern Illinois.  A darn shame he can't get that kind of player at KSU.

It's not "Who should replace oscar Webber?", the question is "Who would want to live in Manhattan long term?".  Might be able to get a steppin' stone coach.

DeBruce didn't recruit williams, brown, or head. so there's that.

Everyone knows that.  So you are not confused, he taught players he didn't recruit to run it with success in a very short amount of time.  Yeah, yeah, go ahead, tell me they were Self's players. Weber got them to stay, run the motion and they played hard for him.
