Thank you sir!

I'm pretty confident I don't like any of those people.

Yard Dog, nobody ever thought Klein would be on a 53 man roster.

I am having trouble finding the direct quote, but I thought I remembered Kubiak specifically saying he expected Klein would end up on a roster. This is the closest I could find:

Quote
I tell you what, it was impressive," Kubiak said about Klein's weekend performance. "I'm fixing to go up and have a long talk with him. I don't want to get too far ahead of myself, but to watch how far the guy came in two and a half days; (he) really played probably his best day out here today. He's found a way his whole career, and he's probably going to find a way this time, too.

"Like I said, we're fixing to sit down and have a good long talk, he and I, but I think this kid's going to beat the bushes and he's going to figure out a way," Kubiak said. "I'm very impressed with him."

Maybe I just read into what he said and heard what I wanted to hear back then.

For two drives, man. The rest he looked lost. The game may have slowed down for him late, I hope, but he was struggling getting to his second read and, just like Delton, threw to covered receivers and missed open receivers down field.
He looked ok for the most part. He was actually one of the very bright spots.

Did anyone else keep yelling at the TV because he would never dump the ball to the running back? That throw was open ~80% of the time on plays where the pass went to no one because we were forced to scramble for a 1 yard gain. I thought we were going to be featuring more throws to the RBs this season like Warmack from the slot?

McCrane got cut.  I think he was perfect in the preseason with two 50+ yd FGs.  Would be surprised if he didn't get a shot somewhere before the season was done.

That's ridiculous, dude played great

Most people said he would but that he'd be picked up pretty quick

The coach in Houston a few years back said he was sure Klein would play for a team in the league too right after he cut him. Hopefully McCrane can find a home a little bit easier.

I definitely prefer black.

This is probably low NFL money management IQ, but I wonder if being a good ambassador for the team to the public and working really hard in practice / showing up to camp plays into his compensation. If you are well liked by the fans, the team, and the team's management I could assume your negotiating power would rise.

Lol no

Was that like the tuckiest thing I've ever said?

of our true freshmen, i predict that only lance robinson will see the field.

I wouldn't mind seeing Wayne Jones on the field too.

Would wear!

I would consider anyone wearing this a "T-Shirt Fan" who probably never set foot on campus.
.

Well that would be a bad assumption, since I set about 7 years worth of feet on campus.

Sorry my man, but that is the vibe you'll be giving off with that shirt. If you want that to be how people perceive you. . . .go for it. :dunno:

Everyone here on the North East coast is obsessed with Old Bay. I never tried it till I moved out here. They have Old Bay flavored everything. Kinda gross to me.

ESPN+ is $5/month standard

In the grand scheme that isn't too bad of a deal. As a cord cutter I am currently living off of my sister's login. If her graciousness should ever subside I could handle $5 a month to watch my cats without having to resort to an illegal stream that cuts out or freezes every 90 seconds.

I think Russia is all up in everyone's biz everywhere - so there are connections - buuuuut they don't have nearly as much control as they want or the media would want to portray.

The doctor says I need to lower my blood pressure. . .anyone know a good "salt alternative" to use on food?

66
Kstate's kicker's size will be mentioned in EVERY GAME WE PLAY. It will be the ultimate litmus test to see if a commentator has been at one of our games before / followed the cats or not. "Holy cow, did they sneak a kid on the field?" will be the oldest joke we have ever heard around Thanksgiving time.

67
I didn't know Mississippi called themselves the hail state, doesn't seem like something you would be that proud of.

A lot of out of control insurance fraud down there, or so I have heard.

the first 4 games, no?

From an article on SB Nation:

Quote
Division I football players are now allowed to play in up to four games in a season while keeping a redshirt and not losing a year of eligibility. The NCAA previously considered a redshirt burned if a player took the field for a single play of live action in any game.

How much do you think the new redshirt rules will come into play this season? I would think if someone has a lingering injury here or there we might have a game we can slip a true freshman into. Or if we are absolutely destroying a team we can rest our battering rams (QBs, RBs, etc)

For those not caught up, the new rule says you can play in four games and still get a redshirt. (At least that is my understanding)

I'm kinda shocked he got that contract since his numbers have been decreasing since his Rookie season, but i'm happy for him either way.

I wonder how much of that was his injury and recovery. If he has a good year at WR2 it could justify the money.

That thread is sad. Too many people playing Living Room Couch GM and doubting TL and his abilities. Fingers crossed for his biggest year as a seahawk. They are sleeping on him!

admittedly i do not know crap about Jordan Mittie but it cannot be a good sign that he showed up and is immediately on the two deep

From his bio:
Quote
AT TEXAS STATE: Played two seasons at defensive tackle for the Bobcats under head coach Everett Withers... Totaled 83 tackles, including 8.0 tackles for loss and 4.0 sacks over his two seasons in San Marcos... Also tallied four breakups and a forced fumble over those two seasons... Earned Honorable Mention All-Sun Belt honors as a sophomore in 2017 when he finished sixth on the team with 52 tackles... Also ranked fourth on the squad with 5.5 TFLs and 3.5 sacks as a sophomore...Redshirted the 2015 season.

Not sure if that is good?

I'm more annoyed about the powercat position than the incorrect helmet color.
