As always, the danger with a SLTH is they sometimes don't get a chance to be a LTH.

Get ready to drink really gross beer while trying to convince yourself and your friends it isn't really gross, while spending approx $10 a pint for it.

Damn, we had thought about this. I think he can nail it tho.

i've never gotten into it, but then again, i don't drink a lot of beer.  seems like a lot of work.

Yeah, I don't either. Wondering if I need to get serious or not. Could be fun. We have a good idea, will share when it gets started.

EMAW IPA?

Katpak Pilsner?

DOOM draught?

Frank's Pissed off Porter?

Merriwether's smart yet flat and crapty light?

Unfortunately not K-State themed.

I know you think that.  That is the problem with home brewers.  They put time and effort into it but it will taste shitty.  It's like when your kid is a total fuckup See Louise's West).

You aren't going to believe it - and no one will tell you to your face -  but your beer/kid sucks hard.

the dipshits that lean over the glass at Chipotle and point down at the stuff they want in their burrito anger me.

Elite iPhone 'polte app has completely alleviated this concern.
i have said application, but i'm not sure how it stops their germs from dropping into the meat/beans/salsa/sc/cheese/guac since the food comes from the same place.

I thought you were referencing how annoying it is to watch some moron who takes too long and doesn't know the name of corn salsa.

Yeah, if someone is hanging all the way over the glass I expect the mexican dude making the burrito to tell him to GTFOOHF, no excuse for hanging your gaping maw over the fixins.

Is Elmo the same species (different race) as Grover :dunno:

He was his bastard kid as well as an attempt by Sesame Street's creators to cash in on Grover's enormous popularity.

And, here's another one for flying on BA partner airlines (including AA)

http://www.britishairways.com/travel/partnertable/public/en_gb

I misspoke earlier when I said it was 30k to fly RT domestic with AA.  It's only 25k.  So, you basically get 4 RT tickets within the US for paying $75 and spending $2k on the card.

Does "purchases" include balance transfers?

« on: February 14, 2010, 05:15:19 PM »

That announcement means it appears the only ones to make the move to West Virginia will be assistant Erik Martin, a former Cincinnati Bearcat player under Huggins, and K-State intern Josh Eilert, who will take over as Director of Basketball Operations.

Biggest WTF from this entire scenario might be Eilert going from a banker in BFE Kansas to a glorified manager on Wooly's staff to a member of a HOF coach's staff (on a top ten team) in the span of two years.

i can beat that. went to highschool w/ a guy that was a pretty good baseball player. didn't play a down of football in highschool though. somewhere around halfway through college he went to a super small college/school and played wide receiver. he just got announced as the chicago bears qb coach.

also, if i didn't know better i would swear that i am tampa2isdead from this chicago bears board that i just found when googling the guy. http://boards.chicagobears.com/forums/thread/2051551.aspx

Seems like a good guy to know if he were umping in the city league when you were coaching a team of 4th graders to the city league title.  i dunno, just got that hunch.

Kansas State vs. Colorado

Colorado Quotes
Head Coach Jeff Bzdelik

Opening Statement...
"I thought we put ourselves in a good position after the first 20 minutes. But the start of the second 20 minutes we turned the ball over, giving K-State some easy baskets. We missed several shots which put us on our heels and allowed them to really push it hard at us and get a couple of easy baskets. They got a couple of offensive boards which gave them a couple more easy baskets. We had an inability to make shots, inability to take care of the basketball and our inability to put bodies on people allowed them to get separation early on."

On K-State's defense...
"Well I am not going to be one of those coaches that says, 'We did not do this, we did not do that.'  We did not play well, and half of that was K-State's defense, and their strength on the offensive boards."

On K-State...
"They are as good as anybody, and we have played a very difficult schedule. Our schedule will be ranked as one of the Top 25 most difficult in the country. K-State is certainly a good team with a lot of experience in the backcourt and athleticism, strength and size in the frontcourt. I expect them to finish very strongly and make some noise in the postseason."

Don't stare directly right at the SLTH sun...you could suffer eye bball damage.

When will ISU fans grow tired of McDermott's allegations that he doesn't know what is going on?

Dendy is not enjoying Ames at all.

If I was making "Bill Self Money," I'd have retired long ago. I'd be living in a shanty on a beach in Mexico and banging spring breakers by the bus-load.

I would imagine college girls on spring break don't normally bang bald losers with a stuttering problem.  Unless they are fat.
