Went to the katz game last year at Memorial Stadium. "Tailgated" at the hawk and the wheel, good time, i do like that there are bars within walking distance but its not really "tailgating" per se.

Bought 2 "Children tickets, under 17 only" from a guy outside for $20 each. Walked into game with no problem and ended up sitting in the student section with some other EMAWS. Left at halftime and went back to the wheel, met current gf at the bar.

We need to embrace KU tailgating for what it is. A great change of pace and an all around relaxing good time for EMAWs to pak and revel in our athletic excellence.

The crowd started chanting "BRUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCE" and "oscar oscar oscar oscar" and then i yelled "Get Josh Gray to commit" he answered with "He'll be wearing purple and white next year EMAW!"

One thing I'm learning is that oscar Weber lies a lot to us, and I'm strongly displeased by it.

Part of oscar's entrance interview I am sure involved Currie telling oscar that it is extremely easy (and sometimes expected) to lie to KSU fans.  I bet they had a good laugh.

Glen Mason asked for a football complex like Vanier in 1995 (it was actually after the Bowl Season of 1992, but most phognet talking points tend to forget that) . . . had he stayed around THIRTEEN more years, he would have gotten it . . . Mangino re-asked for one in 2002.

I'm sure oscar Weber will put the new basketball facility to good use.  All of those 2 and 3-star recruits won't know what to do with themselves once they get a glimpse of that place.

It's possible they are butting heads, but its also possible that Eric Hyman is taking the heat so that Martin doesnt have this used against him on the recruiting trail.

If I were recruiting against him I could pretty easily use an AD who doesn't ever give releases in the same fashion. 

Recruit:  But what if something goes wrong and I want to transfer, or you leave for a new job?
FM: honesty, blahblahblah, loyalty, blahblah, it was the AD who denied the release anyway.
Recruit:  But your boss wouldn't grant the release so either way I'd be stuck?
FM:  yeah, pretty much
