Kansas State Football / Kleiman v. Prince - for the reputation of KSU

All the comparisons to Brown aside (and I acknowledge those are huge and should be at least 50% of how CK is judged) we need to track our new coach versus what Prince did.

The records should closely compared and if CK does not win more (and the same caliber) games, he has to be fired or our university will be branded as super gross and racist.

We will track the performance in this thread.

Bread: you were a old coordinator and took a chance on the worst college football team in the country.  You recruited super crappy small town white dudes, made them awesome, and then good players from Texas came here.  You were a super mean dick to some of the best young coaches in the nation.  But they were still on your staff.  We were super close to 2 natty runs. Your special teams blocked kicks and scored points.  It was as fun as I have had in my life.  And you have a highway named after you.

Meat:  You never win big games anymore.  You love your fellow old coordinators and it is killing us.  The special teams haven't blocked a kick in forever.  Your sideline literally looks lost and we get penalized like every series.  When it comes down to clutch time, I actually think the other coach has the advantage. 

Bread: you are a legend and you pretend to work super late.

Kansas State Football / K-State's audition for the SEC?

So I was crushing some Mac 18yo this weekend with a bro who is very plugged into the SEC circles.  He got a little pak'd and admitted that the SEC is getting sick and tired of Vanderbilt being so insanely shitty at football.  We have known that the SEC covets KSU's ability to pound other school's faces in at the sport of football.  He admitted that many an SEC school Prez/Chanc watched us plant our foot in Texas A&M's bad person and wear them for like boot while simultaneously kicking their other asses on national tv.  Bottomline is if we punish Vandy like we can, we might have to consider if we want to accept an invite to take Vanderbilt's place and play in their smelly inbred conference.

I would be against it but...being in the same conf as ku is getting embarrassing.

This thread will prove he isn't just a nice old man hired to get along with LHC Bill Snyder and get a nice check off of KSU as he drifts off into retirement but instead is aggressively improving our athletic department in the area of facilities and wins.

Everyone is invited to post as I might not be able to keep up with this mover/shaker as he improves KSU athletics winning percentage and definitely doesn't just be nice to bill and cash a huge check.

After trucking the "golden boy" of the SEC in the Texas Bowl (just as I predicted) we now take on their best and brightest in Vanderbilt.

If we win by less than 15, I will be concerned.  I don't see  Vandy having a chance in front of a half full stadium in Knoxville.  thoughts?

Since the last time KSU hired a basketball coach our AD basically hired his buddy's search firm for $50,000 who then dipped into their list of 3rd tier options and then sent in Gene Keady to 4D chess the decision, I think we need to compile a list of the best search firms because they will be the one spoon feeding the options to management.

I am also considering that Some of us start our own.  Do some flashy stuff to baffle Currie, then give him a list of our liking.

I may dress up like Jerry McGuire and do some "show me the money" stuff
