My girlfriend hates the word "cooter" idk why  :dunno:

LOL. My wife hates the name "Dick". She's foreign, and can't believe we actually use it as a name. I love that outside perspective, because it really reminds me to appreciate how hilarious that is.

I see a lot of the option in our future.  Great size for downfield blocking with those guys.

Have you seem Lamark block?  Yeah, nobody else has either.

Lamark is excellent at pass-blocking (in a DL/LB kind of way).

God I love how much it kills Nebraska to lose to us.

I take it Nubb fans didn't politely applaud the Wildcats at the end of the game ?

          :dunno:           :users:

It was kind of polite of them to give us some privacy to enjoy the moment.

Why the rush to finish it? I'm in a similar situation. But with just me and my wife (and my two step-cats) I just use the basement for a workout room/cat-dumping room. We already barely use the two finished floors. Plus, we may sell in the next few years and go overseas, so it seems a little pointless.

But if we do it, I want a pool table. Just want that out there.

Want more room for guests and junk/stuff.

Ah. We're already using the basement for junk/stuff, and we've got three spare beds on the second floor.

Good call on asking neighbors, BTW. Do you have an HOA? Pretty much the only good thing about our HOA is the reco list for stuff like this.

the grocery store in my neighborhood

that's a great point, fr.  the dc grocery stores are horrible.

OMG. Thank you. It's like a Marxist nightmare of class stratifications. I either go high-end where I can get some fresh produce and out-of-area goods (and I'll be broad with high-end and round Whole Foods/Trader Joe's up to Dean & Deluca), or I slum around in Safeway/Giant for non-expired generic goods.

I'm a big fan of Lady Gaga as a human being. Not a huge fan of her music.

I'm sure there must be other people out there that like Cake, but I never seem to bump into them anywhere.

I like cake.

The baked good and the band.

Good to hear. Most of the time, people look at me like I'm still listening to Hootie & the Blowfish (which I also am, but that's entirely unrelated).

Best cake CD IYO? I love a few songs on "prolonging the magic", but "Fashion Nugget" was a great album. Still listen to it constantly.

BTW, did anyone else's music tastes pretty much stall out about 21-22 years old?

I want to punch Owl City in the face and crush a beer can on his unconscious head.

People are just complaining about "the way" Denis gets it done, and that just annoys the shazbot! out of me.

whether he's been able to do that because he's a great ball handler or because he's a poor ball handler who somehow has managed to compensate is irrelevant.  the end result is exactly what you want from a point guard.  or any other player for that matter.

Have only seen seasons 1-2 because that's all that's available to watch instantly on Netflix. Wanna talk about those?  :shy:

STFU.

1) I can't get Gates out here.
2) I usually get Stubb's Hot and Spicy, but they were out, so I went generic.
3) There's a reason I mixed it with the BWW Hot MORONS.  :blindfold:

JFC. You try and share a tasty omelet...

Bull-caca.

Yeah. That's an accurate list of what's available at the grocery store in my neighborhood.

I'm not gonna drive all over DC to find a store that carries Gates. Hey, Kansas City, way to "Be famous" for something 10 other cities do just as well or better.  :jerk:

you live in d.c., felix rex?  i was there for a bit recently.  pretty disappointed, thought it would be better.  i can understand why so many d.c. area youth are interested in relocating to kansas area universities.  anyway, opinions on why it sucks more than you'd think?

I would start with Reagan National being the sh1ttiest airport in the world

Good jumping off point.

Proliferation of uninspiring, gray-haired athletic coaches who talk too much about "four passes before you shoot" has also been increasingly cited among influential members of the emerging Diaspora.

Not a great handle at all. Gets ripped often in man-to-man.

Yep. He makes plays with speed and some vision. But he's not a great decision maker or ball-handler. But he doesn't need to be, because he's super fast and gets really, really hot sometimes.

If we had a Morningstar looking dude with a terrible haircut who only shot when he was wide open and passed almost every time...and had the exact same stats as Denis, the GPC crowd would want to retire his jersey.

People are just complaining about "the way" Denis gets it done, and that just annoys the eff out of me.

If you don't like the way K-State plays, fine. But understand that K-State ranks 16th nationally in offensive efficiency, and if you don't like that, Doc Sadler and his 125th-ranked offense might be available after the season. (All those high-percentage shots did wonders for the Devaney Center atmosphere, lemme tell you.)

8868
BTW, mixed in a tablespoon of BWW hot and a tablespoon of KC Masterpiece into a three egg ham/cheese spicy BBQ omelet. Amazing.

8869
I blame the movie Hoosiers.  Everything Gene Hackman did, was like, the miracle formula for winning basketball games "the right way".  Except for the technicals and ejections.

Doc would have chased Jimmy Chitwood off for good.

BTW, Gary Williams is broadcasting his radio show there next week. Thinking of popping in and asking drunk questions about DC Assault.

You are a hero to us all if you do that

Please post recommended questions. Right now, leaning towards dropping ten bucks on a maryland hat, pretending to be a longtime fan, and accusing him of "doing things the wrong way" and "changing the culture" of a "traditional program" (will not use air quotes, but will "emphasize" loaded phrases to rally support of terra-tards behind me).

Our "peers":
Virginia
Colorado
Wake Forest
Illinois
Duke
Temple
Northwestern
Syracuse
Connecticut
Boise State (83rd/WTF)
Wisconsin (84th//atta boy Beilema!)
Washington State
Indiana

Would love to see a few more of these on the non-con slate. Random question: Could we win a road game at Indiana in 2010? Let the fact that you have to think about that sink in.

Went with jerk and blue cheese. Outstanding. Will gain10 lbs this month thanks to new BWW location by house.

You went there, ate, came home and posted in less than 45 minutes?

Right down the street here in "the district". Ordered ahead so I didn't have to wait for food, then just grabbed a table and a beer and watched the heat game.  :driving:
