D Wade a hillbilly?  There ain't any hills in Stafford County, maybe deranged prairie dogs and rattlers the kids play with.   Sorry no chaw either, just wholecome taters and beef.  Talent is talent whereever it comes from.  I think our caoches are not a bunch of ignorant morans who don't
know who to recruit. Wade tortured his big city cohorts this summer at AAU events.

If it comes down to Wade or Cobb, who should we choose.  I can't find much on Cobb.  At this point I lean towards Wade.  Push hard in 2016 for a center.  Wade is taller than Gip, and sounds very mobile - great for the motion offense. Not sure Cobb fits coach's style of play.

Just think when Manhattan flushes, Lawrence eventually will drink it.  Another quality of life issue :'bye cruel world:

Wow!!! So many to choose from and not enough scholarships.  We have 2 slots with Gip and Nino in their 4th year.  I like that we are looking at players with an edge.  We don't need a bunch a happy squirrel types.

The biggest suprise may be the whole collective group -- 24+ wins, beating KU twice, and going to at least the elite 8.  Glad the coaches are recruiting stud players.  I would rather have a on going elite program than be a 1 or 2 year wonder like Butler, but I wouldn't squeal if we made the final 4.

A national title banner would be great.  A couple of stalls with wide seat toilets would be great so fat boys legs won't go to  :ksu:sleep - hate legs going numb and falling down the stairs.  A large exhaust fan for removing the digested popcorn smell might help concessions sales.

I like Nino and Gip because they are men who can play mean and nasty.  The type who will gnaw the net off at the final 4 instead of cutting with sissors.  The kind who tells the towel boy it ain't sweat they are wiping off the floor.  Mean attitude is a special weapon in college ball.

It will be intresting to see if the connection to the Ill. Wolves through Malek will yield recruits in 2016.  Coach Brooks is creating a good pipeline out of Texas.  I don't understand Baylor's pull though.

Mario Chalmers is 6' 2" and 190.  He left KU as a Jr.  I think Marcus can be as good. Mario doing ok in NBA.

Hopefully injuries will not be the big suprise this year especially to Gip.  We may be glad to have so much depth.  Who do you think will start and be the first sub in for each position.
PG  Nigel/ Jevon
SG   Marcus/ Edwards
C  Gip/ DJamer
SF Wes/ Malek
PF Nino/ Hurt
We may see some wierd configurations though.

How many scholarships will we have?  Will coach let Karapetyan go?   Will Marcus go pro?  Hope e have 3 for two shooting guard/ small forward type and a good ol' mean and nasty big that enjoys slamming the ball down someone's craw.

I like Sir Hurt for Stephan and Machine for Malek.  Evan seems like a Gomer Pyle.  Who will be the big suprise for the new 6.  I say Malek for rebounding.

5964
Of the newbies who will suprise us the most.  I say Malek's rebounding and clutch 3s.

5965
Is this Malek?

Great start, they add so much to the game.  Go clarinets - Mary!

I like the combo guards that we are finalist for, but wish we could a quality big 6'10" or better.

5968
I vote for Nino, then Wes, next Nigel; and then Jack who will score 10 pts per year.

5969
Mitchell was the top scoer in Tx last year at 32 points per game and can jump.  He played for the same AAU team as Wes did.

We have made Wendall Mitchell's final list. He sounds like anothe4 Marcus Foster.  Hope he commits.
