Was just wondering the peasant version of KK’s question: do you think it would make any appreciable difference between slipping $20 vs $40? I will say we booked one of the cheapest rooms and we did that cause we don’t plan on spending much time there, but it would be pretty sweet to get a room upgrade for $20. On the flip side I’ll feel kinda dumb if I pay $40 to move up some floors tho.

When I was a student, I only wanted Prince gone because he couldn’t beat KU. 
Also, you hope to see some kind of year to year improvement. If anything we seemed to be trending down.
Add on the fact that a hot prospect like Patterson was available and gettable at the time and I still think it was the right move.

Is there like no chance of getting a seat at Cesar’s without a reservation? Ideally I’d like to take in a little bit of the atmosphere but mostly just place a few bets and monitor the games while doing other stuff (with the ability to peak in if something gets exciting). I don’t necessarily want to be glued to the TV unless the Chiefs are in the AFC championship game.

Recap of what I just read from various sources:

He probably will do like 18 months, it’s good to be rich AF.

Piff is a good magician and comedian.
I don't know why you're doing a food tour just one night but Mon Ami Gabi in Paris was a random excellent meal we had that didn't require reservations far in advance. (I'd recommend figuring out where you want to eat and make reservations early).
Good tip on booking reservations. The main reason we’d only do the food tour one night is time. The one we’re doing takes 3 hours. Also, need some flexibility on Sunday to watch the playoff games we’ll be betting on.

They also were completely apathetic about football at that point I believe. Still, CFB salaries have changed a lot since even then. There’s really no apples to apples comparison to be made.
