Yeah lib gets it.  I'll take one more shot at explaining.  If having followers makes you a leader, then an egg on Instagram is among the greatest leaders of our day along with Ariana Grande, Katy Perry, Selena Gomez, and the Rock. You are conflating leader with influencer.  Leadership is intentionally driving people to achieve a goal.  Trump sucks at that.  The fact he has been influential doesn't make him any more of a leader than Justin Bieber (105+ million followers on Twitter).

7152
I’m not going to dissect each of the points I find ridiculous, but I do find it funny that MIR & sys’s conception of a leader (someone who lots of people mimic even if their actual employees don’t respect them enough to follow orders) would put Elton John, Elvis, and Madonna as probably the three greatest leaders of the last century.

7153
Is that what you think a great leader is?

Quite rough ridin' obviously, yeah, that's what I said. There are roughly 60 million people who agree with me. He can be a great leader and I and others can completely disagree with every rough ridin' thing that person is and stands for. How many people in this world would have 60 million people willing to be led by them? I think Ronald Reagan was just as dangerous that the dumpy cheeto is, do you not think he was a leader?

Well I already voiced my problem with your definition. Trump himself claims he is undermined at every turn by people whose only rough ridin' job is to do what he says. That makes for a pretty shitty leader in my book.

As to your question, I think a better question would be whether a sitting president in this generation could command less than 60 million  people if they tried.

yeah, if he cut the hair back he could look really good (except from the front).

i don't know what his deal is with the skinniness.  he appears to eat junk food non-stop.

Add another red flag for cocaine user.

7156
Yes I think we can all agree that was the jump the shark moment.

7157
Great leaders don’t have all their decisions undermined by the ones they’re leading (aka “deep state”).

He did. The republicans were embarrassing as expected, especially Josh Hawley

Well then how do you explain this news article?

Ravens were already in motion.

Did not watch all the senate hearings today, but if that’s true I gotta think he got his ass whipped.

Millennials: "You know what we need? Ineffective policy wonks"

Gen X'ers: "You know what we need? Intellectual commoners who motivate by talking in cliches."

Is that what you think a great leader is?

7163
That is how dogs prefer to be greeted.

7164
I mean, if the choice is great leader / decent ideas vs great ideas / mediocre leader, I'm taking the great leader.

Yeah, when in history has a president ever been like, OH HEY GUYS I GOT AN IDEA. And congress is like wow what a great policy idea let’s put that into action.

Like 70% of a president’s job is getting people to do stuff they already know they should be doing. 10% is hiring good idea people, and the other 20% is making Americans not look like complete idiots.

You should leave on netflix is irreverently delightful. unfortunately the epis are only like 15 mins but still great imho.

Just caught a few epis and agree it’s a good sketch comedy show. Describes itself as irreverent but I’d call it practically family friendly compared to most shows today. I’d definitely rather watch it with the in laws over SNL.

Then there’s this weird phalanx bit where the Bolton army somehow manages to completely encircle Jon’s army. What in the blue eff was that? Apparently the shoot ran long and over budget and this was the way they rectified that.

Pretty sure this was an actual tactic used in actual battle.

It walks the line beautifully

7173
The only real disappointment of the episode was how the night king suddenly became a giant dumbass. There’s no reason he had to personally kill Bran, but for some reason he just strolls into a castle with tons of still alive fighters and is like, ok everyone just watch me. No need to kill anyone else Im sure they’ll just watch too.
