It won't lead to a war of fake videos.  It's a bad idea that any leading candidate is not going to try to replicate.

the moderates on this blog want candidates that align more closely to folks like K-S-U than Kat Kid and MiR.

i haven't actually paid enough attention to bloomberg to know where he falls on policy (although i assume, pretty standard dem stuff), but if you think klobsie, buttigieg or biden is more aligned with trump than with sanders or warren, you're completely delusional.

OK sys

ok I misread this and see how my post got misunderstood when you strip the original context. Of course the centrists are closer to Sanders and Warren than they are to Trump (on most issues). But they're also closer to Trump than Warren and Sanders are. Moderates want the needle pushed away from the warren and sanders fringe and closer to the trump fringe.

So your original statement was that folks who are not as far left as Sanders and Warren are closer to the right than Sanders/Warren?

North and South Dakota are 7th and 8th most remembered on the list.

I was just thinking the directional states are probably among the easiest cause you can think of them in pairs.  You're not going to remember South Dakota and forget North Dakota or vice versa.  Same with NC and SC.

gE legal beagles, this seems kinda weird, no?

It’s actually weirder to even be asked who the drafters were. But if the signatory is now suggesting he disagrees with it, I think it’s fair to at least ask whether he wrote it and why he signed it.

New Mexico is one of the better states in this union. The only people forgetting about it are people who have never been.

(Most people)

indiana is much more forgettable than iowa, within the category of corn states.

Bob Knight is the only reason Indiana is less forgettable than Iowa although much like Mr. Knight that lead is slowly withering away.

Jackson 5
Indy 500

If someone told me with absolute confidence that Indianapolis was in Illinois, I don’t think I would challenge them without looking it up first.
I mean the name of the state is literally in the name of the city so sounds like a you problem

Have you ever heard of Kansas City, Missouri per chance? Or are you team Trump on that one?

Delaware is a huge hub for incorporation and sets the standard for a lot of business law. Rhode Island is known for being tiny and Idaho has potatoes and that weird shape. Most forgettable IMO is probably either New Mexico or Indiana. New Mexico cause it’s one of those boxy states with like 1-2 livable cities, and Indiana cause most of the time I think it’s either Illinois or Ohio.

Next time maybe Trump should put his balls in a vice to challenge China tariffs and IP theft. About as effective as the previous measures without wrecking the US economy.

The only thing that I remember about Hillary’s speaking is how much she used the stupid line that they used to call Obamacare “Hillarycare”.

That and she had a laugh kinda like Dracula.

The Klo car horn comparison is hilarious and now I can’t unhear it.

Which means very little at this point. The important part is she wasn’t making many headlines. Even Klo got more press because of the strong NH showing.

Headlines are more important than the delegate count. Interesting take.

After only two primaries, one of those things has a bigger impact on fundraising than the other. I’ll let you guess which one.

Speak for yourself, dumb1. I am happy to welcome KSUW being back for election season!

KSUW did you also find Klo’s voice to be too lady shrill for listening to?

I didn't watch, did Bernie and Liz go ar each other? Or mainly just Bloomberg and Pete?

Everyone went after Bloomberg. Liz and Bern by far the most. Then probably Biden.

Liz and Pete had some jabs back and forth about Liz’s plans being polarizing and unrealistic and Pete’s being uninspired or too accommodating to the rich.

Very little between Bernie and Liz. He really has no reason to go after her, and Liz was just trying to become relevant again. Bloomberg was a perfect target for that.

Haha. Good tweet. Yeah it was almost as if they were both instructed by their campaigns to take each other out but didn’t particularly have the desire or preparation to really do it.

This was probably my fav debate so far. Mostly shook out as expected with Warren on the offensive trying to breathe some life back into her campaign and Pete vs Klo competing against each other for the center. Might have been reading too much into it, but I wouldn’t be surprised if Warren intentionally was soft on Klo in the hopes of getting some of Warren’s voters back from her. Bernie and Pete seemed the same as always.

Biggest surprise was probably how unprepared Bloomberg seemed for some questions he absolutely knew he would get. Like he had no idea what to say about the former female employee NDA thing when that had been widely reported leading up to last night.

Personally I dngaf if a president is phony or not.  I do like genuine candidates because it gives me confidence they're going to set out to accomplish things on their platform.  But if I think someone is going to try to pass healthcare reform purely for their own ego and legacy vs. for the good of the American people, I really couldn't care less as long as I think they're equipped to get it done.
