Jerome Tang Coaches Kansas State Basketball / KU-KSU breakdown
« on: March 13, 2010, 09:02:41 AM »
How's a team with a fake animal as their mascot going to beat a team with a truly real animal as their mascot three times in a season?  Sorry, IT AIN'T GONNA BE HAPPENING!  Obviously KSU will win tonight!

Plus, all the KU students are LBGT hippies from Johnson County, amirite?  They can't win!   And Cole has that idiotic missing tooth.  And their PG is SO fat.  How fat is he?  He's so fat that when he sits around the house, he literally sits around the house (Garfield joke, LOLZ).

I REALLY, REALLY want KSU to WIN this conference tournament, dammit!

Anyone else excited about seeing this?  I haven't looked into it too closely, but the previews I've seen on TV look amazing.

Jerome Tang Coaches Kansas State Basketball / Pullen or Clemente?
« on: February 22, 2010, 09:16:57 AM »
One of these guys is going to be first team All-Conference.  Which one?  I'll go with the season numbers, and I think it'll be Pullen.  Also, since Sherron will be first team, the voters might think it makes sense to go with the K-State SG (Pullen).

Pullen has been POTW once -- Clemente was POTW twice.

Clem is averaging 16.1 ppg and 4.08 apg for the season, but is scoring better (18.3 ppg) in conference games.

Pullen is averaging 18.5 ppg (3d in Big XII) and 3.73 apg for the season, and is scoring less (16.6 ppg) in conference games.

Pullen has more steals and better 3 pt. shooting numbers.  Clemente has the better assist/TO ratio, and the intangible "team leader" quality.

It'll be close.  Also, I suppose there's a chance these guys "steal votes" from each other and neither makes it?

I just figured it's about time someone came out and raised this issue.  I've certainly got an opinion, but I'm going to hold off -- I don't want to sway the results...

Essentially Flyertalk / The Little Apple Representin' on You Tube

I love You Tube on a slow work day.  This offering is for all the ex-Manhattan Middle School Papooses out there:

Also, anyone who crossed Bridget Everett's path will enjoy Moby's video for NY, NY (I predict SD may also enjoy):

Sometimes she looks super hot, and sometimes not at all.  Kind of a two-face, right?  How am I supposed to feel about her?  I'm feeling a bit lost here.

Oh, and thanks for the gold.
