Tough to say other than the ease of jumping on and off without paying. Seems free and easy down the road I go.

Bus sounds like a pain with times/stops/paying. Oh, times particularly going late. Then there's my complete lack of understanding of the bus routes... I know damn well where the streetcar is going every time I jump on. (I realize that could be easily fixed by probably a quick google search)

Tell that to the babe who's rolling from the Skrillex concert at Midland and just wants to make it to new Cashew (whatever concept it's going with), and she locks eyes with RS2K... Game. Over. Thanks for playing. HJ's on lock.

I will never ride the bus. I will, in fact, ride the streetcar... Likely go to Up/Down to start my night... walk to Rieger for a little primer, jump the car and creep around Rivermarket/downtown before Uber'ing to Plaza. Can't wait for it to extend to Plaza. I wish it would sooner.

8MP, you blow goats and don't know a thing.

I don't consider Brio too pricy. One on the plaza has a private room.

Would go to Taco Factory because of this sauce alone.

RIP Taco Factory.

:dunno:
I can forgive the Grand's, they are pretty tasty, and homemade biscuits take a bit of work and experience.

It's just that sausage gravy is super easy to make from scratch and is far superior to any gravy mix.
Gravy:

Step 1: brown sausage in skillet
Step 2: add flour to sausage, enough to absorb the fat
Step 3: add milk (and optionally stock), then cook down until desired consistency.

Season to taste

This guy gets it. If you don't make your own gravy, you're doing it horribly wrong. I love me some B&G, and this thread makes me happy until I saw that ingredient list... then just disappointed.

Pro tip: Sausage should be spicy or hot.

I'll give them the fact that purple is indeed awful.

We're the only team that can't pull it off sans Vikings (they're worse)... LSU, TCU, Ravens all make the look decent. We butcher it.

Our basketball shorts are some of the ugliest things I've witnessed.

This post could possibly be in like 4 other threads, but f it.

Are aliens included in this? Or is it just known they exist because we're not small minded enough to think we're only ones that God let form in the universe.

1. Bumble
2. Hinge
3. Tinder - this one has gotten bad.

Bumble, I'm fairly positive pushes people who are most swiped-right to the front. If you go to a new city, it's outrageous.

Wait, do you think Taco John's still offers the free tickets? I always thought our game was excluded.

I'll drive there right now. I loooooove TJ's.

Gonna win 'em all!

I loved this.

OT: what do you guys think is the busiest QT in kansas city?

31st st and SW Blvd is where the real gets real.

Nailed it. This one is so real that they recognized the real needs to get realer and bulldozed that f'er for a 12 foot move of its front door to change from KS to MO. Selling 5% alchy at a gas station on the KS line is so ill. Let's be honest... across the street is a liquor store by the name of 'Don's 5% Liquor'. QT mumped that guy, Don.

The best route from Leawood/Mission to downtown is as follows:

Lee Blvd - Ward Parkway - Southwest Trfwy - I35.

Would appreciate you keeping this to yourself. TIA.

I love their antics with Jayhawk, but facts remain that nothing changes sans band. Time goes on and sound system does the trick. I can do the Wabash to a loud ass speaker. Band is unnecessary. I like the band and prefer it, but it's lucky to be there.

Drunk life alert. When you're too drunk to stumble home, press this little button on your necklace and a can connected to a debit card will come to your destination

wait, what

She must be at least a 5 right now

Isn't this just uber?

Has anyone tried to upgrade phones on Verizon since the plan change happened? My upgrade is in November and i'm getting nervous...I still want subsidized prices on new phones and to not get switched over to that new plan crap.

Tis true. ATT no longer subsidizing phones... You pay your phone off as you go. The way I understand it, you never actually own your phone either.

http://fox59.com/2015/08/31/still-have-a-contract-with-verizon-you-can-keep-it-and-pay-more/

Their new Verizon Plan is actually the same exact price per month I pay now, less data on the new plan than what I have and no subsidized phones. I think i'll stay put on my current plan.

Do they still have subsidized phones if you stay on the old plan? (I'm not on Verizon, just wondering.)

The way that I understand it (and keep in mind that i'm wrong quite a bit on these things) is that as long as you don't change contracts, you're grandfathered into whatever agreement you originally signed with. Since I signed when phones were subsidized, I will be able to continue to upgrade that same way until I change my plan.

You should really check into this before you wait all the way to November to get an upgrade; and then not be able to get the upgrade.

I waited until September on Sprint because that's when my 2-year contract was up but they don't do the subsidized phones anymore at all. They did just come out with a $15/month "Samsung loyalty credit" if I got a GS6 (which then makes it only $3 per month) which is what I did.

Essentially Flyertalk / Re: How Many Credit Cards Do You Have?
« on: August 12, 2015, 02:55:12 PM »
it's fine but not the best. the current SPG 30k is good and limited time (PM me your name and email and I'll refer you  :fatty: ), any of the UR cards from Chase are good options (see links on first post of thread for referrals  :fatty: ). Those are probably the guarantee home runs right now. I have never had the Arrival but I know they recently devalued it a bit and sys hates barclays guts so you may want to consider that.

So the SPG just has better $/mi rate which is why at 30k it's better?

Also, I just don't activate the Barclay's if approved, and I'm all good right? Don't need further action?

Is there any credit penalty for applying for multiple cards?

Traveling to Europe to catch Rugby World Cup and the Chefs play in London.

What card should I get and put this trip on? I only have a SW RR that I've had for 6 plus years and an AmEx I've had for a couple years now. I'm as amateur as amateur gets with this stuff. I literally only know how to use my RR points.

So I just applied for the Barclay arrival+... 40k mi, 2x all purchase, 3k min, 0% first 12 mo.  http://www.findmybarclaycard.com/barclaycard-credit-cards/arrival-plus/

I'll book the whole EuroTrip on it and will reach $3k in first week.

Is this what I should've done? Should I not activate it and go for another?
