I'm pretty conflicted on this still I feel like Delton can make some decent throws (at times) and is without question the most athletic runner. My issue with him is he seems to more often then not make the incorrect option on the zone reads. Versus K.U he kept handing the ball to back when the d end was crashing down hard.
Ultimately I think we should stick with Sky and use Delton as our wildcat packages and incorporate more run , pass options to maximize his skill set .

It is really mind boggling at how horrible the receiving core has been this season. I felt Heath, Pringle and Strickland, were going to be studs and had so much promise coming into the year. If not for Gruntley and Zuber our receiving stats would be horrendous.
I'm not sure if it comes down to a lack of chemistry between the QB and the receivers or just simply a lack of talent. Either way the W.R position has been my biggest let down for 2017.

Fun fact Walt Alexander (Huge Cat's fan / Stud Coach at Topeka High) was my High School coach back in the Mid 90's. We played 8 man football and had a set called " The Nike Air" (original ASF name) we had 3 down linemen with a T.E split out 5 yards, Qb and R.b back in shotgun and the w.r's spread out to the sidelines. I believe we only passed out of this formation a handful of times but It was usually a Power Qb run game or some Option game. It's crazy to think 20 years ago we were ahead of the trend with spread offenses at the 8 man Level.

I hope you are right. For Geary, and for us.
But when other guys have gotten in trouble (Cre Moore), they were never kicked off team. If indeed Geary is off (he is still on roster posted on website) I am not optimistic that this is just a doghouse-that-he-can-work-out-of situation.
I'm hoping it's not the same doghouse Andre Mcdonald was in, he was never able to get back out of it!
