Chick whose cubicle is on the other side of the wall from me talking on the phone:

"Yeah we're all Jayhawkers over here."    :dubious:

Followed up with:

"Jayhawks?  I don't watch Jayhawk football but I heard they got spanked the other day."

On the days when we are allowed to dress down she is always decked out from head to toe in KU gear.

I also share a cubicle wall with a big KU fan. Thinking about calling in OSHA.

Grab bag on weekends. Get some long islands from Kathouse on Friday nights.

Have to ditch work an hour early. Going to be cutting it close. 7:30 would be better.

I'm not sure how I feel about the fancy new bathrooms at Mae's

Saw a guy and a girl go into one together while pak'd, chaos ensued. Therefore I'd say they must be popular.

and how was the demo derby, @UCHADBRO?

No 4 state fair and rodeo for me. Parents live 20 miles away. Was there playing a round of golf with a buddy.

Chetopa: Don't care; had pecans

Had to go back and see if Chetopa was mentioned.

What a horrible place.

For God's sakes, the town website is blank and "may be for sale by owner".

http://www.chetopacity.org/

I possess a wealth of knowledge on all the places in SEK. Chetopa does suck, but it isn't the worst.

It's Galena, right?

No it's definitely Coffeyville. It's been the worst since I was a child. Was also there just a month ago so my opinion is up to date.

Peru, Kansas.

Made up.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peru%2C_Kansas

Had to do a couple of witness interviews there.  Was glad to get out of town when they were over.

you haven't lived until you've meandered the area of chautauqua, peru, niotaze, havana.

Fun fact: I am from Havana, KS. My grandparents and uncle still own a farm/land in the area. Btw, Coffeyville is the 2nd worse place in Kansas.

I didn't post right away because I didn't know if this was the right place. Didn't want to pollute the Panda X thread with insidery fall practice info.

Hey guys, sorry I don't live on gE. I was busy getting 5k pak'd. Anyway, since you all are so polite and patient I will tell you what I know. My source tells me TLBL hasn't been practicing recently because of an injury. No clue on severity. I'm guessing it's a precaution.

The people who were smart enough to pm me knew this yesterday.

I'm 6'3". I was 5'11" in 8th grade and that is when I first grabbed the rim. I dunked for the first time my sophomore year in HS. I have also worn a size 13 shoe since 8th grade.

Being tallish is pretty cool, except for car rides and public events. Seating is always uncomfortable. I also always have to have my chair really low in the workplace so I can fit my legs under the desk/keyboard. Ceiling fans occasionally attack your fingers as well.

Statistically taller people make more money so I think it's worth the dying earlier/joint and back problems. I don't trust short people.

Hey guys, not sure if this is the correct thread but here we go anyways:

I am 6'3 and have always struggled with being able to wash my hair comfortably in the shower. I'm finally fed up with this and have decided to take immediate action. I read online that an S pipe may solve my problem.

This brings me to my question I would like answered: Do any of you other tall GE'rs have any solutions to this problem. I'm mostly worried about disconnecting the standard pipe and putting myself at risk for a basilisk encounter. Thanks in advance!

$250 a piece. Would pretty much pay for the cost of my two seats for the year.

My dad is a very successful guy. Graduated from K-State in '85 despite having two kids with my mother before he was done with college. Loves the Cat's maybe more than anything. Was team #LIFE and also thinks oscar Weber is a dork. Obviously a great role model.

Loan officers are pretty much a sales position. As long as you're likeable you can do it.

I don't know specifics, but I have a friend who works in Vanier that told me Ertz has been tearing it up, and Daniel prly would have been backing him up.

Pretty sure Ertz has already red shirted. Also, heard that Ertz is the number 2 and has been killing it. Still sad though :(
