It is blowing hard here in the Smoky Hills! Trees snapping all over town. The air is filled with a gray haze as the wind whips up assorted dusts from bulk commodity production. Asthma is starting to activate. Will keep everyone posted.

My neighbor left his dumb trash dumpster in his driveway (like an idiot).  It took advantage of the opportunity to discard itself of it's worldly belongings and is roaming free through the cul de sac.

What does that hashtag mean? Rex got hit with a coin?

Rex was a KU basketball player that Venables *allegedly* hit in the eye with a heated up quarter at Bramlage when Venzy was a student at KSU.

Venzy chucked that thing?  I watched that quarter in flight come out of the upper part of the student section.  I couldn't believe it hit it's intended target from way back there.  OU qb's are in good hands.

Bradford is the one I have the most faith in. I have zero faith that Luke will do that even 4 more times this year. Ish will be fine.

Luke seems to have made some leaps offensively but I wish he was better defensively.   I agree with you on Bradford but I haven't seen anything from Ish that makes me feel he is going to get it figured out.  He takes some horrible shots and is not a good defender at all.

I grew up a townie and went to K-State games for as long as I can remember. I remember playing with other kids under the bleachers at Ahearn during a a huge (maybe top ten) matchup with OU. And the football PA announcer saying "tackle by Reggie Singletary" a billion times because he was like our one really good player at the time.

I got my undergrad degree there as well. For a while, I worked in Ahearn as like a weight room/gym attendant. No one needs help working out. So, my job was basically to make sure that no equipment got stolen. Once, I was scheduled on the night of a basketball game. During my shift, I decided that it would be no big deal if I just slipped out to go to the game. Gym still open. Me still on the clock. As soon as the game was over, I went back to Ahearn, locked up, and then went on home.

JFC a simple yes or no would have gotten it done.

The first time I had heard the term was from Deshawn Fogle at pre 1995 Holiday Bowl pep rally.  I remember him explaining to the crowd that was what the defense was referring themselves as.

I want Boise State, Colorado State and Houston...who else, UCF, USF?
I mainly only watch K-State anyways, I don't watch big 10 or SEC games, because I don't care.
Texas is never going to have "enough"...it's always more, more, more.

For me it's Arky, Nubbs, Houston and maybe a toss up between Memphis and Cinci

it goes may, miller and then kavanaugh and there is a huge (massive) drop off between miller and kavanaugh.

kavanaugh was garbage

Kavanaugh bailed us out in the Holiday Bowl and his 1 lone season as a starter his numbers were equal to Millers.  I don't get the hate.

Also there is no correllation between May -> Bishop.  Different offensive coordinators and philosophies altogether.  Bishop should be #1 on that list by a mile.

Oscar's trash offense is why I think you take 4-6% off the shooting percentage of the newcomers.  They may look like upgrades on paper but by the time they get Bruced, they will be the same players we always have.

Agreed.  We need someone to come in and implement an offense that gets shooters "Ultra Wide Open" rather than just wide open as I'm sure that would've helped these snipers we keep recruiting.

Moderna and it was fun 4-5 days of chills/dizziness/nausea.  The 2nd dose in a couple weeks should be awesome.
