The New Joe Montgomery Birther Pit / Re: The Trump Candidacy
« on: February 25, 2016, 06:52:34 PM »
In a perfect world, we'd probably just call this thing quits right now and give the thing to Kasich. that won't happen though because of how batcrap crazy the majority of republicans are. is it too late for Kasich to switch and start running as a dem? probably, huh?

Kasich wouldnt win the Dem nomination either. He is a good politician without a party to lead. there really needs to be a third party that is like centrist. Maybe we should just change our system to a parliamentary system. multiple parties work great there.

LOL at Kasich being "centrist." On moral issues he's about as far right as you can go.

oh i know but he is what passes in today's world, i mean he is also for a balanced budget amendment which would ruin the economy but alas he at least seems to actually care about people.

yeah, he actually cares about people, unless you count women and homosexuals as people.

"Barbie dolls give little boys unrealistic expectations...of how easy it's gonna be to tear off a head"

bonus points if you know the author of the quote.

Our founders were Christian or deist, and this had great influence on how they ran the country.  The government is a reflection of the beiefs ofnthe nation.  If you can divide the population into a.myrid of belief systems there becomes no common morality or.foundation for the country.  So what fills the void? Secular government led by socialistic humanists.  The rise of Obama and BernyAmerica

If you're worried about the population being divided into a bunch of different religious groups, you need to look a little bit further back than the Obama presidency. Even if our country was founded as a christian nation on day 1 (it wasn't), it was no longer an all-christian nation on day 2.

reno,

christian values aren't what makes america great. the ability to have whatever values you want are what makes america great.

Because our staff are idiots, I'm going to guess that they want him at TE.

or FB.

Barring any surprises, this class is completely underwhelming. Also, I don't know why Mason Barta and Ian Rudzik are both going to be FBs and Tyler Burns is a RB when we a more pressing need at LB and DB.

And WR

You might not like the WR that we got in this class, but we got 4 of them.

I like Sutton and Pringle

I like Isaiah Harris as well. I'm not impressed by Render.

It's more about minimizing downside as opposed to maximizing upside. Every coach is going to select the qb who can quickly and consistently make the correct reads under pressure. Whatever "wow" factor banks had, it obviously didn't translate into consistency or production. Alot of guys can excel in HS or JuCo simply because they're athletic, but that doesn't account for much in the P5.

Mike McCoy just committed.
Nice. Finally kept someone in state.

That's a nice pickup, replaces that guy we lost to nubb

Nothing against the kid.  Laughing at Wacky's "kept in state" statement when his only FBS offers we in state.

I wonder why. He's rated #27 RB on rivals. Probably grades

There is a chance he ends up a sign & place

I'm going to venture a guess that Clifton Lewis commits to SMU here in about 20 minutes

I would be shocked it we didn't land Tre Jackson at this point.

Well, considering that Tulane has 5 DBs in their class so far and we don't have a single one, it looks pretty good.

I asked about this guy earlier. Clifton Lewis, TCU decommit, good offer list, down to us and SMU, announces Sunday. I don't follow recruiting all that closely, but hadn't heard of this guy. Anyone know the story? Would take.

Will take. Don't know much about him.

I think he might have grade issues...

how does Snyder go about vetting a youngster for coke use?

with a vice-type sting. he lines up a rail of mannitol on his desk and asks youngsters if they'd like to partake.

where are the recruits in this class going to come from?? Tre Jackson *could* be 1 more, but that only gives us 13 non-grayshirt players in this class. We've lost at least 4 additional scholarships (Joshua Little, Darreyl Patterson, Bryce English, Baby Gronk) along with the 17 departing scholarship-holding seniors.

I figured this wasn't going to be a big class, but holy crap.

I'm not worried about a 2* corner, especially since we just landed a 5th year grad from Cal. Also, we're going to land that other piece of ass that plays both ways (WR/CB) from Georgia.

Who?

We didn't need another TE in this class. Unless he's a walk-on, in which case, who cares?
