I think a lot of the problem is that some of his passes (especially in transition) are too fancy and complicated for our stone-handed bigs to catch.  Although he probably should've accounted for this by now, its not entirely his fault.

Sorry, just because you gather random people from most the states doesnt mean theyre not idiots

BTW, no idea if this is Dem/Repub garbage and dont care.  The notion that if you can find one person from 96% or the states, your cause is just...thats stupid.

How many people signed the Declaration of Independence?  How many worked on the Constitution?

But you are right.... A group of people working to create something doesn't make them smart.

Take the Apollo Alliance and the Stimulus Bill for example.

But regardless of what program, declaration, bill, product is created, it NEVER involves everyone.  So what's your point?
If every group of 48 people who got together got an audience with the highest ranking officials in the government, nothing would get done.

Petitioning the government for redress?  Its putting on a show for (I'm guessing cuz I'm still not reading that crap) right-wing news outlets.  You want to make a difference, you're better off voting and campaigning.  Instead when your party loses, its a big dog and pony show and talk of oppression.

Look, I'm was sick of hearing all that "America, love it or leave it crap."  Now that the White House has changed parties its all "This is not our America and we want it back"  Nobody says love it or leave it now, that only works when your party is in power and people are trying to suppress real discussion.  I'm all for real discussion, but that's not what these people are trying.  They are trying a publicity stunt.

JIMHO  :dunno:

I'm sure I'll get painted as some hardcore dem now.  Frankly, I think both parties suck most of the time.

Kansas State Wildcats (18-4)
Home-court branding matters in college hoops (just ask Tom Izzo), and K-State is faced with the question of how much it wants to officially embrace the rapidly spreading nickname for rowdy Bramlage Coliseum: "The Octagon of Doom." What started as a message-board phenomenon and a series of unofficial tees is now being mentioned on ESPN, mainstream newspapers and even Mixed Martial Arts Web sites. Wildcats coach Frank Martin seems cool with it, telling the Kansas City Star, "It's a great thing. ... That's what's special about college athletics. It makes it fun and gives your team a shtick that players take and kind of bond with along with the fans."

Why not take it a step further, then, and brand the court with something similar to the tees? Everyone's done the giant half-court team logo by now, including Kansas, so why not scrap the Wildcat and set Bramlage apart with a center-court Octagon of Doom that every potential recruit will instantly recognize on TV? Take this mock-up and get working for next season ...

I was thinking about doing a network with some sort if music device that could run off NAS.  Once I started figuring out what I wanted, seemed to get pretty pricey

I think the thing I posted the link to would do it pretty cheap :dunno:

I was also looking for network storage though and thats where it gets expensive.  I have a couple in my basement that like to pick through my music and wouldnt want to open my whole desktop to them.  Also have friends that come over and they could copy some stuff...and I trust them less  :chainsaw:

I had an old laptop and its screen went out. It is now running Windows Home Server and has almost 2 TB in external drives on it. Got a gigabit port for it and the N wireless wifi adapter I linked above for clams on my 360 and streaming HD movies is a breeze. I RDP into it to download torrents. I keep all my music on it. It's a good setup.

Expect a series of dumb-as-hell questions from me in the future about all of this.

See though, that architecture degree isn't just good for home-theater/pillar set ups, it is good for home networking too.

Just when we're elevating our program to get into the real thing consistently, they start letting fracking everyone in.

BTW _Fan, talked to Pullen's fam.  They all love the beard shirts.  They said that Jake has one and sent them pictures of him wearing it in a mirror.  Refuses to wear it out though because then, well, he would be wearing a shirt of himself out.  The Pullens are fantastic people

Looking more and more like the beckster is full of crap.

But at least he is irrelevant enough that the squaks are blaming kietz for fabricating the whole thing.

Just going off what I was told from a highly reliable person. If I'm wrong, I'm wrong. It's not going in the papers. But, I will be much more reluctant to tweet stuff like this after seeing how much drama it has caused.

Dont take the crap on here that seriously.  Tweets are all for shooting off at the mouth

I just called my bookie and opening odds have a levi KO paying even odds.  You can lock in a fight to the draw at 5 to 1.  A manbeck win on points plays 20 to 1 and a manbeck KO of Levi is a longshot I'm playing as it pays with 50 to 1.

Manbeck may have the physique of a 6'2" manute bol, but he does have reach and if he doesn't get into a ground game he could sting and maybe play to a draw.

Which one is the Wes Welker type?

That's because they were true. She was an outstanding source.

I think I like J-Mart even more now that he's been "cut loose" and left so he can just do/say whatever the shazbot! he wants

First of all, I have nothing against Cole personally. He seems like a swell guy, and up until I saw his Twitter picture a few months ago, I wouldn’t know him if I saw him.

All I know about him is what I read and personal conversations I’ve had with others.

Yeah, there a few things that, from a professional standpoint, irk me. And his faulty predictions are the least of them.

He’s in a tough business. I couldn’t handle it, and I got out (was ushered out?). I like to think I know a little bit about the biz, though, and I respect the people who do it the right way.

As far as a fight, the logistics aren’t in its favor. But maybe some day.  :dunno:

Is Cole pretty much saying he could kick your ass one of the things that irk you?

(just trying to stoke the fire that seems to be dying here)

And I've never met Levi. So I don't know how the fight would go. But I'm willing to find out.
