It's starting to sound like he made a very bad miscalculation by leaving the Gruden rumors out there. When he did make a public statement, it was about pushing for an upcoming stadium renovation. People are expecting a huge hire. If he doesn't come through, it's going to be ugly.

I had to listen to the KSU announcers on satellite radio. Pathetic display of play calling toward the end. Brushed off the picked up flags like it always happened. The color guy was screaming after the final TD with the following comments:
“We beat Iowa State, but of course we ALWAYS beat Iowa State”
“I can’t believe this...I might pass out!”
“NEVER count out the Cats”
Made me want to puke in the car. I’ve never heard an “announcer” screaming and so out of control.

Need to let THompson air it out. We had some identity last week, this week we look clueless. I realized Thompson is hurt and we cannot ask him to run, but someone has to be able to get open.Seems like he's best to air it out when he's also a threat to run which keeps the defense honest. I'm guessing the "injury" is still a factor.
