Grabbed a couple pop tarts from the Hampton Inn snack kiosk, digesting them along with what I got to witness this evening.

The most anticipated QB debut since Michael Bishop, the palm tree growing under the stadium, the satellite launch from the cape glowing in the night sky, ending my petsonal bowl drought.

Weird pep rally when compared to other bowls.  No AD, no UP, no celebrity speakers.  Had a high school pep rally vibe.  Band plays, Wyatt, CK, players speak, Willie KSU cheer, Alma mater, everyone head to the bars/restaurants.   I suppose the time limit impacted the agenda.

Tater is pushing 60 lbs.  He would smash that maze like a tooth pick.  He's also half cattle dog so he'd probably just bark and turn in circles until I got the bowl for him.

Those same day surgery places don’t messa around when it comes to getting people out the door.
My shoulder replacement was same day.  In at 6 am, recovery nurse was shaking me at 1 pm... time to wake up Mr Tom!  Let's set up and get you dressed.  Rolled me to the car, watch that sling, car door slams.  Good luck!

My BFF from kstate is retiring at the end of this month after 30+ years with the same company.  It is a huge company.  Today they had his retirement lunch.  This evening he texted me this...

The accountant in me has been thinking about this all morning while on a training call.

31 individual coaches thru Ron Prince, but Snyder served 2 terms, Lee Moon interim isn't counted, Hobbs Adams served 2 terms (40-41, 46).

So if you're counting separate terms regardless of name, then 31+3=34 making Chris Klieman the 35th different coaching term.
