If we are going after mexicans, I vote for Puerto Rican mexicans.  I  heard a LOT of very favorable things from some of the catbackers about how most of the mexicans in San Juan were able to speak AMERICAN the restaurants at the tournament there last year.

Not poop. Delicious, reasonably priced Italian food with a friendly wait staff. It's probably been 10 years since I've been there though. Free breadsticks 

There is a place in Mission called Italian Delight that actually is cheap, fast, and super delish...home owned by some Ducati driving meat heads.  I would go there before this Fazouli place.

Oh snap - can confirm. Get yourself a stromboli and a slice of sausage. Morgan Freeman works there. Don't ask if their pasta sauce is Ragu.

HOLY crap, I SAW THE MORGAN FREEMAN GUY THERE THIS WEEK!

Also love the stromboli.  Have you tried the egg plant parmingnanngag?  It's on sale on Tuesdays!

I will probably move away from the KC area in 5 years or so, but until then I am consumed by the notion of preserving the Big 12 tourney here.

After I move, I will not care.  DFW would be better, because it has direct flights to everywhere, and scalper tix will be easily acquired.


Again, until I move, we must keep Mizzou in the conference.

There IS a succession plan.  Just because you have "issues" with it, doesn't mean that it won't happen.  While BSAC isn't going to live forever, that doesn't mean we close up shop.

Because Notre Dame could deliver markets like NYC, a market that generally doesn't care about college sports.   

But Notre Dame's current TV Contract only pays $15 million a year and a huge portion of that goes to pay the opponents that appear.

They are HUGE in Chicago.

@kbohls: Big 12 will still consider inviting BYU, Louisville, West Virginia no matter what Missouri does; Dodds, Castiglione prefer 10 team-league.

That's the practice gym, once they get into the Big 12.  Do NOT worry about that.  We need wins, good road trips, and fertile recruiting grounds.

Where do you think they'll put a new arena?
