Kansas State Football / Re: KU football is hurting

Serious question for facilities nerds in the know.  KUFB fan on the social medias proclaimed the following.   "We have awesome facilities to recruit to in a power 5 conference.  Our locker rooms and weight room are pretty awesome."

All bias and trash talk aside.  I hope he is correct but I had to tell him that's a start if true and not "awesome facilities" and that they are WOEFULLY behind the rest of the country in terms of facilities.  He's pretty convinced otherwise.  Am I that out of the loop or is he delusional?

I am assuming it would be nice to have him this weekend?

to be fair, Les has a .500 winning percentage at ku, which puts him just behind ku coaching legend Mark Mangino (.510), so really any reasonable ku fan should be thrilled at this trajectory

Give him a week and he'll be sitting on a .333 winning percentage.

I think that's still better than the last 3 guys.

It's Old Miss State. I know it's just a tune up game, but show some respect.

What can State do to help with the scrimmage this Saturday.  Should we play press coverage? Zone? Should we give your secondary multiple looks or focus on the run game.  Our goal is to make KSU look good.  So help us help the fighting Willies.

Give us our WR back?

I just read their entire game thread from last weekend. It was very.... very sad.  I feel bad for the people who took the time and had enough interest in KU Fball to post in that thread. They are crushed.  Any true fan of that program deserves our sympathies.  Miles may be the worst coaching hire they've ever made.

Kansas State Football / Re: Nebraska's struggle for relevance.

Not sure if anyone watched their game on Saturday. I couldn't stand to have it on the TV since Beth Mowins was doing the play by play. However, their offence was only able to muster 2 touchdowns and 276 total yards against South Alabama. Had the Jaguars not handed the Huskers 14 points on what ended up being 5 turnovers (one in desperation/end of game time), this game would have had a different outcome.

Again, realizing that it's just one game, but Nubs offensive woes look like they're back for another season.

can someone here with HighFBIQ please explain to me how Nebraska is ranked in the top 25?  I can't figure it out.

I sent this pic to a KU fan at work and he said... "Yeah, but that's the visitor's side."

Pretty sure they're charging $45/year right now, which pisses me off because I joined the first day ESPN+ started but can't switch to the annual rate.

Hulu with ads is kind of worthless imo, but just FYI they will be offering a espn+, disney+, and Hulu with ads bundle for like $11 a month.

When will this start?  When Disney+ drops?

How rough ridin' looney is this guy going to be by this time next year? This election cycle is going to be gloriously entertaining.  I will be voting for whoever runs against this embarrassment. I don't care who it is. I've made my peace with living with whoever the dems puke up there rather than this rough ridin' schlong.  I was kind of "whatever" about it and figured I could take 4 more years vs the dipshits I have seen in the last 2 dem debates but I'm over it now.  He's gotta go.

I feel like if we compiled all of BenJi's posts and sent them to Joe Rogan we could get his dad on the podcast.  it might break youtube.  Eddie Bravo would probably never leave your dad's side.  Would be incredible.

The Tea Party Movement has been hijacked.

But you'll never convince me there isn't provocateurs in their midst as well, the Democrats are scared $hitless of this movement.

this is just a foretaste of the feast to come. the floor on this next recession will be LOW. lower than 2007.

I haven't seen or read that anywhere except for on The Epoch Times

how many people in finance and real estate do you talk to on a daily basis?

I am curious as well.  Who is saying this and what do they have to back it up.  2007 was pretty rough ridin' bad dude. It would take some serious eff ups to get there.

I would be REALLY interested in reading how Red Flag laws work and how they are enforced.  Seems very  :bawl: :shakesfist: :curse:   :Carl: :Wha:  :Jail:  :bigtoke:

They don't need to make things up like this to have fun with Joe. It cheapens the real Joe's fun.  If Biden gets the Nom i'm going to vote for him just for all of the amazing things he will say.  He's a national treasure.

back in my day we got transfers from Michigan State AFTER they beat the crap out of their girlfriends.

Pretty sure he worked another one over or maybe it was the same girl at the Country Stampede.
GTFO! That dude has issues.

I am referring to the player (back in the day) from MSU.

Danny Clinkscale is cackling and rolling a blunt today

Danny can't afford blunts, but he did just find a Winston 100 that had only been puffed a couple times outside a construction site and is smiling as he lights it up.

I haven't kept up with sports radio in KC for the last 2 or 3 years.  Where the hell is Clinkscale now? What happened there?

Sure, but would you bet they won't win 6 games?

When Les Miles is your coach, how good the team plays is only one of a number of factors in whether you win or lose.

Coastal Carolina, WVU, K St, Tech, Baylor, and Oklahoma in Lawrence, TX, plus a homecoming game in Stillwater, OK. Les Miles sees six potential wins there. Seven if they can get past the opener against Indiana St.

I will always contend that George Hill is the worst player I've ever seen at K-State. Canby would be up there too, Mawien is much better than those two.

hill was terrible but he got minutes
ham and johnnie williams were so bad they couldn't even sniff the floor

much worse than anything we have in our program today

I can't believe we got this far with those three mentioned and nobody brought up dax jones.

I hate the crap out of Dax Jones

He was actually a really good guy when I knew him.  Of course we were just kids and he was a 12 year old trapped in a 24 year old's body.  He took a lot of crap and kept his head up. Very nice... He just didn't have the basketball ability everyone wanted out of that body.
