Is it racist to talk about the jalapenos on her popcorn? Ksublacklab, can we get a ruling?  Is this cool?

I cant think straight right now. I can't stop laughing at all of this. It's blowing my mind.

We thought it was a bad hire because it was a bad hire. I don't care if Weber goes on to be Wooden, at the time of his hire it was a horrendous decision that the athletic director couldn't himself reasonably justify at the introductory press conference. He has exceeded our expectations in 1 1/3 seasons, so that makes me very happy but it is going to take a lot more to make people forget about the nature of his hiring. He is still the guy who was hired to take over a top 25 program days after he was fired from a similar program for performance.

100% this.

Thanks you Make it rain's sock.

It's like any coach, if he sustains success he'll become "ours" and we'll grow to love his weird quirks.

Exactly. Crap, everyone hated Snyder 2.0 until 2011 when we magically won 10 games and he was suddenly Scheme Dr. again and not old balls.

People have reactions to things. They're often black & white, gut-shot, emotional reactions. I went extremely negative when oscar was hired. A lot of us thought it was a horrible hire, and below where we felt the program had risen. We also loved Frank.

In time, none of that really matters. We want success, and if the coach that brings us that success has a cool personality or whatever, then that's just gravy. oscar is kind of a kooky dude, but as long as he keeps winning that's cool, and if he wins long and consistently enough he'll be our kooky dude.

Amboseli National Park, Kenya

In Kenya, conflicts between animals and people are also a big issue. Here, the Leo Foundation is involved in a collaboration project with Kenya Wildlife Services (KWS) around Amboseli National Park. The Park is completely surrounded by Masai, a community of warriors. To become a man, it is tradition amongst the Masai to spear a lion. And, as in the Cameroonian study lions are killed in retaliation of attacking livestock. Thus, lions that appear near Masai settlements are killed more quickly than in Cameroon.

As lions are a huge tourist attraction, Kenyan government tries to keep lions to their assigned but restricted areas and lion populations up to the mark. Because if local people keep killing lions, the government looses a significant source of income.

With support of the Leo Foundation five lions have been GPS/radio-collared in Amboseli National Park between July 2007 and August 2008. We saw that the animals left the Park in November and December in 2007 and 2008. During this time, the researchers got reports of conflicts from the local people. The collars have an SMS function which enables researchers to alert local Masai that lions are in their vicinity. This tool is directly beneficial for Masai during ongoing research and provides researchers with a way of informing local people about lions in their awareness campaigns.

Embid is not a Masai warrior.  But I bet they all look the same to you, huh?

"And, as in the Cameroonian study lions are killed in retaliation of attacking livestock"

Limestone-You have been weighed on the scales and been found wanting.

That being said... I don't see a losing streak like that happening.  :crossfingers:

63
Thanks for the input. Now that I know, I do not care that much.

64
So... What happens in this thread if/when the inevitable 4-6 game confy losing streak takes place?

I will be eating crow and turning into a fitz like drunk.

and Sparcne what is Canco?

Kansas State Football / Re: Bob Stoops is a complete stud: Eff the SEC
« on: January 03, 2014, 08:12:31 PM »
From Shaggy  :cool::

Stoops was just on Cowherd's show. Colin asked him about his "SEC propaganda" comment. Post-Sugar Bowl Stoops said he stood by his comment because he was just stating truth. He said the top 2 or 3 teams in the SEC are good, but the rest aren't, as all remaining teams were "0 for 31 against the top teams". He then added more to his argument by saying " What about missouri and texas a&m? Nobody talks about that. They were in the big 12 for a hundred years and didn't do anything. Now they go to the SEC and the cause problems over there. Why is that? Nobody talks about it, but that's a fact."

And here is the interview, from OU board

can we change KSUblacklab's queso jar to a bodybag?

  :dunno:

How does the jar thing work? I added an avatar. But I think it's kinda lame.

KSUblacklab is just kicking gE.com dicks off bodies left and right.  It is an all out assault on nearly everybody's dicks by new comer heavy weight titan KSUblacklab.

Thanks for you support. It's very taxing work to fact check. I couldn't do it without my research team. So I would like to thank them now.

Thanks to google.com and my very own critical thinking.

And to all you sheep. Baa bah, baaaa ba baaah.

Some people on this board lack logic and critical thinking. Just a bunch of sheep following the leader. Who can't think for themselves.

73
still pretty racist to assume that someone from Africa kills lions on the reg. Doesn't matter if it's a spear, hands, or a gat.

How is that not racist?

He killed a lion.
He is from Africa. People kill a lion there to become a man or defend their land.
If he said it in reference to a black kid born and raised somewhere that killing lions isn't part of their culture it would be racist.

 :buh-bye:

P.S. I'm half black. :horrorsurprise: And some of the comments from users in this thread have felt racist.

75
I think Pete may be overestimating KSU BL's racist spotting ability.  OR, this is just such a racist statement that it is just so big that his brain cannot grasp it.  Kind of a forest for the trees kind of thing.  Because, telling a bunch of people that your player killed an animal by throwing a spear at it is big time  :opcat:
You guys are dumb. He killed a lion. People in his country kill things with spears. Morons
