The women just won in Lawrence despite being outrebounded and shooting 1-20 from 3. If I recall correctly they went 10-10 on free throws in the final minute.

Mike, I'm coming up close to your area next month for a wedding.. A.) does this make me a donor? and B.) What should I do, give me some good recommendos
Go to Horse & Dragon and Jessup Barrel House.

If you give a better idea of where you'll be and your interests, I can add more detail.  Here's some idea for the Fort Collins area.

1) Go on a brewery tour.  KC has BBQ, we have beer.  Like kstofer said, Horse & Dragon is a great place (a little out of the way, but worth it).  I also like Equinox which is in Old Town Ft Collins.  New Belgium and Odell's are more national brands, but they're huge and more touristy than those mentioned above.  There's a ton of breweries here, but only a handful I'd recommend.  There are organized tours if you don't want to drive or you can Uber it.

2) Drive by CSU's new stadium and check it out in person.  I think you'll like CSU's campus.

3) Go to a pot shop and check it out even if you don't buy anything.  It's an interesting experience.  I'd suggest the one on Mountain Ave in Old Town Ft Collins. It's probably a 5 minute walk east of Equinox Brewery above.

4) If you're in Loveland, drive up the Big Thompson Canyon.  Hwy 34 is closed past the narrows part of the Big Thompson Canyon, but this is the stunning part of the drive.  It's really pretty.

5) If in Ft Collins and only have limited time, drive around Horsetooth Dam.  There's some decent hiking around there too including a trail up to the base of Horsetooth Rock.

6) Another drive is to go up Hwy 14.  Cameron pass is good turnaround point on this drive.  Grey Rock hiking trail is on the way (3 miles each way).  Cameron Pass is probably a 2 hour drive from Ft Collins.

7) Go skiing if you have time.  We've been getting a lot of snow in the mountains this year.  Skiing is about an hour from Denver (2 hours from Ft Collins).

I hope this helps and let me know if you have any more questions.
This is a good list and much more thorough than mine.  The Poudre Canyon (up Hwy. 14 like Mike said) is great, especially if you have the time to go all the way up to Cameron Pass.  The lower half of Big Thompson (Hwy. 34) is more impressive though if you have a limited amount of time, and you're more likely to see wildlife there (bighorn sheep).

If you have little ones there is a very family-friendly hike on the west side on Loveland called Devil's Backbone, only 1 mile to a natural viewpoint.  Also, if you are in Loveland and the womenfolk are tired of beer, there is a great brewery/cidery combo called Big Beaver Brewing/Climb Hard Cider - bonus is that you can only get beer on one side and cider on the other so it's a great excuse for some healthy separation.

Raise your hand if you were 18-19 and never threw a beer at a parked car, never pissed on a car handle, never got into a bar fight, never smoked a joint, never thought about a 3-way with a chick in a bar, never streaked, never skinny dipped with a pool full of drunk chicks, never snuck out of the house, never drank/partied to all hours of the night.

What Jackson is accused of happens millions of times in college towns all over the country, and has been going on for decades.

We call this stupid.

We call this normal.

The only reason it's a story is because it involves a KU basketball player.

I don't understand why this is in the list.
I've thought about a lot of things in my life, I wouldn't use that as a defense to go kick other people's cars though.  I can say I've never even thought about pissing on a car handle.

Klein is from Loveland, CO.  Same place I live.
Let the record reflect that Mike is a lying liar face whose name should actually be Mike from Loveland. Mods, kstofer can be changed to kstofer who actually lives in Fort Collins.

Just added this guy. https://n.rivals.com/content/prospects/180586

he must have received good news about his injury

He's been committed since June.   Any idea why he didn't sign until today?
Sounds like he's recovering from an injury and they weren't sure whether he would redshirt or grayshirt next year.

Speaking as a KSU grad living in Fort Collins, this needs to happen.

I'd say that QB fits into the "may not be very good" pool of skill position concerns.

Our Offense is basically Gronk and the Donks (Donks is a bad thing word I made up because of its rhymenessness with Gronk)

It's on Root Sports Rocky Mountain, if you randomly get that like I do.

Saw the O/U at 145.5. Sounds about right.
Well, yeah, sure...if we score about 140.

Just Jordy doing cool things:

!
the way he stands there and watches was very boss
At first I thought, "I had no idea Jordy was left-handed."  Then, I realized, he is probably right-handed and was trying to take it easy on the other team...but his stud-bossness simply cannot be contained by something so trivial as which side of the plate he stands on.

Tanner Wood, done.

Why is this happening to me?  Why do bad things happen to good people?

Well, the tone of your post plus the fact that Cbuck said you had a local ip number (where are you located?), he didn't think you were really a KSU fan but some troll trying to stir up trouble.

Yep, just a local troll with 5,000 posts on a KSU message board and about 30 KSU videos, 2 of which I posted on your site.  Nice work detective Cbuck, you've cracked this case wide open you stupid son of a bitch.

Playing the long game.

That's actually a really good idea, we should be infiltrating gE sleeper cells around the interwebs.

Someone tell Prague that red roofs are out of style.
Yeah, Prague is an awesome city.  KU's campus is not Prague.

This coming from a fanbase that has one of the most generic mascots in all of college sports, with a fight song copied from various sources (including Indiana State and Purdue), with a logo that's a direct rip-off of Iowa's Hawkeye.

Not even true...plus, didn't KU copy its alma mater from Cornell?

44
we are going to get a 6 yo.

If we get 2 more wins, then yes.

what happens if we win 4? because that is the minimum we are going to win preNCAAT.

If I knew that would happen I would root against us tomorrow so hard.

Definitely not THE game that will define our B12 standing but one of a handful that will play a big roll in it.  Beating OSU, even at home, is huge.  Its one that few teams will get and would be a likely tiebreaker in the event we split with a team and finish with the same record.  .500 would be OK but finishing a game up in the OU/UT/ISU/Baylor series would be huge.  UT might be the most winnable roadie out of those to give us that shot.

Are you referring to seeding in the Big 12 tournament?  Cat fans should know there are no tiebreakers for the confy champy  :whistle1:

KU fans certainly know that well.

My wife is a Baylor grad (I know) so needless to say OU winning and making the Sugar bowl set us up perfectly...arrive in Phoenix December 27th for some wild wings, depart January 2 after some tostitos.  Hitting all the local breweries in between.

Not sure if this should go here, but the high school football 'expert' on BP this morning was asked who he thinks is the best player in the KC metro...he gushed on Warmack for a bit before saying he should win the Simone award again - has been better as a senior than he was as a junior.  He then went on to list a few other players, including E. Lee, whom he called a freak of nature.
