Haver, what are your thoughts on LHC Bill Snyder Family Stadium and the tailgating? Better than ISU and Jack Trice Stadium?

Stadium: I really liked the stadium. At first I didn't like having so much seating on one side while the other only went up to the pressbox. Having seats in the endzone compared to having two upper decks holds in noise better. I might sit across from the ISU student section next time at Jack Trice (similar to my location at BSFS) to judge loudness, etc, because it is judge how loud the student section is while standing inside of it. However, Jack Trice does have a few gaps where noise just rushes out while it seemed like the Bill held noise decently well. Concourses at the Bill were more congested than concourses at the Jack of the same capacity. However, Jack was just as bad until 2 season ago when Iowa State expanded the concourses and concessions outward and put in new luxury boxes. (Nearly tripled the width of the concourse). In the end of the day, it's still a Big 12 North stadium, I'd give the advantage slightly to KSU stadium-wise over Iowa State, but don't get cocky... both of our schools have a long way to go in regards to facilities. Manhattan vs. Ames: Campus in Manhattan had some pretty cool locations but I'd say advantage ISU in regards to campus. I did enjoy the fact that there is only one building material on the KSU campus... really brings things together. Iowa State is more varied in regards to building materials, and has many more architectural features than KSU. Aggieville is better than Campustown; nothing new to say there... the City of Ames is dedicated to making Campustown suck. Advantage Bars: KANSAS STATE; Advantage Campus: IOWA STATE
So, if I tallied this up. ISU 2 KSU 2. We're tied, we're sister schools, we are virtually the same. 2000 Bball loss to Michigan State in hoops hurt just as much as your 1998 loss to Texas A&M. We've had some damn good basketball teams in the past few decades just like you guys have in football the last few decades. Manhattan or Ames aren't the greatest college towns known to man, but they are still pretty legit. So now its time to start hating each other, warm up our tractors, and head to Arrowhead in two weeks, mother fuckers.
