Welp, Britt effed me over. Stupid injury. Still came out all right. I ended up sitting Branch, which was a good call.

I got two RBs on a bye, so i need to pick up 1 off waviers. Yahoo is really projecting Blount to dominate the next couple games, but i'm skeptical. I think Green-Ellis may be a more reliable pickup. Thoughts?

Green-Ellis. I keep thinking to pick him up but I have Chris Johnson and Steven Jackson, so it's kind of pointless for me.

Sometimes you pick good players up and dump that backup kicker, TE or something just so someone else can't have them.

In our league you can only have so many at each position, or I probably would.

Essentially Flyertalk / Re: last nights dream thread...
« on: November 02, 2010, 10:10:04 PM »
Had this one a few days ago...

Zombies were starting to take over Kansas City, and the Chiefs had a game that night.  On the radio, they said that the National Guard would be out to protect citizens wanting to go to the game, and they'd hold them back from the stadium by surrounding it with a series of tarps.

Folks were calling in to the radio saying how dangerous it was and wondered why they were playing the game.  The DJamer said very nonchalantly, "Well, the games are very hard to reschedule."

There were a lot of other standard zombie things happening, but that was a highlight that stuck with me.

Lol.

On an unrelated note, I have a reoccurring dream where one or multiple of my tattoos disappear, fall off, or get washed off. Since I've had so many of them, I recently have been coming to the conclusion that I understand that this is impossible. Soon I should be lucid dreaming. I'll keep you posted.

The title of this thread implies you were only going to mention one freshman, not the freshmen.

3.  shot a coworker with a rubber band from 20+ away through a large roll of drawings.  He was hiding behind them but I hit him in the eye.

4. Tried to do this, but the rubber band got stuck in the in the ceiling tiles and is still currently hanging there.

5. Kicked a basketball into the rafters in a gym, it bounced around and dropped into the basket right next to me.

Shot of bad tequila without salt or a lime.

Huh. Seen lock/stock multiple times.  Only seen snatch once.  Maybe I re-watch snatch?

If you watch the DVD, turn "Pikey talk" captions on.

Just watch the whole thing with subtitles once. It makes 10x more sense.

Snatch is a lot funnier than LS&2SB, but LS&2SB has a lot more "Guy Ritchie weird coincidences".

Yeah, I think Snyder forgets that our "slow and steady" mentality doesn't work when we need to score 10 points in 2 minutes. Hell, at our pace it wouldn't work if we needed 3 in the last 2 minutes.

too bad he isn't more emaw.
Remember the photo capture of him rushing the floor after Beasley, Walker and Pullen beat the sqwawks. Big smile on his face and all. He's EMAW enough.

I was standing next to him and we both ran straight to Beaz together. It was the most EMAW moment of my life.

Seriously. How the hell do people like that song? I can't believe how many people have told me to listen to that.

EMAWmeister, prove it. I will  :pbj: and  :excited: until I die if that's true.

He was seen watching the CTR, bball edition, in an interview on his tour bus once.

I mean, was he cheering for us? Even paying attention to the game?

In all honesty, seeing us probably just reminded him of purple drank.

If Wally stays, we will have the Willie & Wally combo. There will be no competition for most adorable duo when names are included.

Heard he was going straight to the MLB.

Wow....Looks like the Huskers took this loss HARD.
Nah, I had a bad feeling about this one.

Yeah. Winning once in ten tries against Texas, I'd have a pretty bad feeling about it, too. I can't imagine what it'd be like to be unable to beat them in every sport.

I'd be okay with him as headcoach.  But I'm also a maniac, so take that fwiw.

This.

I feel like all of us in the student/recently graduated category are all for this, and the older folk are not. Is there something we don't know? Is he too young and hip for a conservative, Snyder-worshiping K-State?
