Pretty sure the only two Big 12 programs to win BCS Bowls in the last four/five years are KU and Oklahoma. Gill's salary was in the top 30 nationally. It's far from the worst job in the Big 12.
I do have to laugh a little at Beems take given that ku hired Don Fambrough twice: Tthey brought him back after he went 16-17 his first time around, and when you consider that 2 out of their last 3 hires were Terry "NIU" Allen and Turner "Losing Record at Buffalo" Gill.
And Mason quit (twice), stepping up the ladder to take the worst job in the Big 10.
Minnesota is not the worst job in the Big 10.
If there is one thing Ben knows, it's being the worst job in a conference
KU is not the worst job in the Big 12.

It's a better job than Iowa State and K-State. Probably on par with Baylor, Texas Tech, and TCU.

I don't care about non-revenue sports unless we're winning Big 12 titles in them. Is that clear enough for you? I mean, JFC... there's a board on this site titled "sports we don't care about unless we are winning." Why would I be any different?

Curious to see how much you guys paid/pay for housing in college. I am currently paying 320 a month for a 6 bedroom 3 bath house.
there are only two coaches i can think of who would transcend Ws and Ls if they coached at kstate: mack brown and rick neuheisel. there is no losing with those two.

Yeah, I believe so. K-State’s talent is underrated because LHC LHC Bill Snyder is a beast, but outside of Arthur Brown, Nigel Malone and maybe a few others, there’s not a lot of just natural playmaking. Collin Klein is three levels of badass, but I also think he benefits more than anyone from Snyder’s coaching.
Here’s another way to look at it…KSU will be 10-2 if it beats Iowa State. With a normal coach? Maybe they’re 7-5 or so. KU is 2-10. With Snyder, it’s easy to see them going 6-6 or so.

If Gill coached K-State, you guys would probably be 3-9/4-8. If Snyder coached KU, we'd probably be 7-5/8-4.
