I'll always remember the SoD (Series of Dominance) that you had in the KU game last year, Lamark. Thank you for that.

had a pretty big catch in farmaggedon.  prob his best play during his whole time here.

iowa st really should have figured out a way to have kept him.

JFC purdue. you had two options.....   1)win by at least 3, and win me 13 dollars.   2)lose, and let k-state move ahead of you.

and you do NEITHER.

dude, always take the Moneylines in these situations.  i was betting purdue also last night in hopes they'd lose too.

nobody has taken adv of an unbalanced schedule better than self i'll give him that.  if tex or ou played the same schedule they'd prob have half those titles at least, and prob a share of the rest.

IDK, I guess the way I look at it, we'll be the best team to play at AFH this year.  If not us, then who?  I wouldn't be shocked - I'd be super fracking excited but not shocked.

What do you guys think the line will be?  I'm going to say uk -5.5

lol it'll be 8 or 9 at least.  you realize ukans was a 4 pt fav on our floor right?
Right, and we covered the spread, at least in terms of regulation, and we're now higher ranked and have won 6 straight B12 roadies.  It may be slightly higher but i think it'll be closer to 5.5 than it will 8.5.

yeah and ukans hasnt gotten better?...it took a pullen 30fter at the buzzer to cover that line.  at best we have a 25% chance to win the game which generally translates to a 7pt line.  but realisticaly we are prob 20% to win.  i just think ukans is that good.

Four year members of the winningest senior class in KSU hoops history: Chris Merriewether & Luis Colon.  A thousand years from now basketball archaeologists will marvel at the wonder and dominant force these two must have been to achieve such a result.  They'll search the dusty basement hallways of buried KSU campus buildings for cave paintings of them.

total disaster if next yrs senior class isn't the winningest class ever

"See our bench?" he says. "I had it moved to the student side. Caused a big stir, but the students love it."

No dummy, Asbury also had the visiting team's bench moved a few feet from K-State's students, legendary for standing the entire game.

"That's why I did it," he says, smiling, perhaps at the thought of some Russian lit major from Topeka yelling farm vulgarities at, say, Coach Eddie Sutton and the rest of the visiting Oklahoma State team.

This really would be amazing to do again.

i think the conf has a rule against it now

the ticket office has been a disaster for as long as i can remember.  this move needed to be made whether it was for money or not.

Went and saw Nino play against SMNW friday night.  Mixed impression, though I'm pretty sure this was an "off" game for him.  hit some nice 3's, but also airballed a few (has decent jumpshooting mechanics).  Leavenworth was getting their ass beat for most of the night and he generally did not play real hard offensively or defensively (their whole team didnt play much def) I really couldnt figure out wtf Leavenworth does on offense, they really should run more through Williams as he's clearly the best shooter/dribble driver on the team.  Anyway Nino def has a D-1 body and athleticism (had a nice block pinning one against the glass) but he needs someone like Frank to get his motor going.  Reminded me most of Sutton, which i'm sure surprises no-one.  A friend of mine coaches at Free State and has said Nino is the best he's seen this year in the KC area. I wish I could have caught him on a better night and seen it myself.

crap is going real bad when ISU fan is clowning you and you can't say a thing in response.

Real bad.

KU has beaten Iowa State five years in a row.

I still can't believe you guys tore down the goalposts in 2005 after you beat a 7-5 ISU team.

It was KU's first winning season since '95, and Iowa State would have been North champs if they had won that game.

It was Iowa State, Beams.

no kidding the rules for goalpost teardown have to be in one of a few categories: ending a multi-decade losing streak to a team, beating a top 10 (preferably top 5) team when you are a bad team,  ending an overall long losing streak (like when Snyds arrived).

Corn got jobbed a little. It happens.

Later, after the T, SLTH extrodinaire pointed to a ref and told him "do your job". A little bit latter, after we called time when not getting the ball inbounded, he pointed to a ref and held up five fingers at him until his team walked to the bench.

I love that guy.

I do think that he is about to lose it. Gotta be tough. Used to be able to rely on getting a fair shake somewhere in this conf. Now, Frank has taken that away. The poor bastard is on an island.

amazing how quickly we went from a team that doesnt get calls to a team that does.  I do like Frank's approach with the refs.  He works them but not in a crazy/angry way.  Used to get so annoyed at wooly's woh-is-me look when we were getting jobbed then occasionally he'd explode out of nowhere and it seemed kinda rediculous and almost fake.

kelly was just off/kind of bad.  JHR gave good minutes in his place.  Colon was borderline Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!) tonight, imo.  Nu wasn't even defending the post entry to colon, they were encouraging it, then laughing as they got the rebound.  thank god for dom, pulls, and heat check.  and shazbot! frank for going to that f'ing zone (not that it mattered cause we apparently can't hedge a f'ing screen for a shooter).

colon tonight reminded me of how painful it was to watch us "finish" inside last year.

nothing would make me happier than a kstate win and a ryan anderson career night (manhattan area career celebration).  go r.a. and go cats.

 :ksu:

anderson was absolutely brilliant tonight.  my fav moment probably the back to back 15 foot bankers; one from each side.  made Samuels look ridiculous.  two of so many amazing moments in the OOD tonight.

it was hard to tell from my crappy seat...were those bankers legit?

wtf was he so pissed about to slam a ball like that?  one of the goofiest things i've seen a coach do.  frank gets a lot of love for being "entertaining" on the sidelines but doc has him beat by a mile.

Nino finally returned last night against olathe north and scored 24 in a 2pt win.

I hate these threads.  That is all I have to contribute.

right with you.  just assume he's gone and enjoy the rest of the season.

Wondered why Nino Williams was not in box last night in loss to Olathe East - it turns out he turned ankle in first 30 seconds. XRays today.

might want to reconsider the spradling-williams friday pak.

Did we miss it or is it next friday?

Missed it.  SMS upset Leavenworth. Haven't seen a box score.

Hasn't played in the last few games...Was hoping to catch Williams tomorrow night at OLNorth but no idea if he's gonna be back or not.
