i see no identity on either side of the ball.  this disapoints me.

supposedly the word is rodney is not getting this offense at all, struggling more than anyone.  its actually heavily designed for him to get shots but he's just not getting it done.  perhaps the end of the mich game it clicked more.

29
will was the worst player on the floor.  couldn't hit open shots, can't beat anyone on the dribble, and completely worked on defense.  reminded me of his game against k. irving.  at least then he was a freshman, i've seen no progress from him.  should be at emporia st.  i had a hard time believing we couldn't replace him with something slightly better, irving or southwell or someone.  ugh.

supposedly rodney isn't "grasping" the offense.  maybe he will now after all those garbage buckets late.

was there.  also attended the catbacker thing the 1st night at the australian.  prob 30 people there, some big donors (CFO of Bain i think)  met currie, wanted to call him out on weber but was with a friend who worked for him and didnt want to start anything.  lame, sorry.

delaware was super dead, they didnt allow anyone in the upper deck so it was a free for all for seats. fwiw there was an R. Kelly show going on at the same time in a theatre under(?) MSG.  was surprised at the michigan fan dominance till a mich friend said pretty much all mich alums either come from ny or end up there after going to mich.  was annoyed they didnt sell any beer the whole tournament there.  the arena itself is really up to date in the bowl and the concourses.  lot of history everywhere.  had almost zero "old-timey" feel to it though.  seemed just like any other newer arena.  which was kinda disapointing in a way.

michigan game we had good seats (1st row behind the folding chair section), some purple around us.  michigan fans were yelling "baylor" and "brownback is your gov"  political smack, wierd.  the baylor stuff kinda hurt though.  was quietly optimistic for the game.  thought we just played nervous against delaware.  boy was i wrong.  spent the whole 2nd half yelling to bring back frank and get spradling off the floor which had to annoy the tuck with his family next to me.  also called out rodney for "getting his" when the game didn't matter.   came away totally disgusted and unenthusiastic for the rest of the season.  Least we had a good time drinking around NY to take away from the awful game.

Anyone else thing Ellis looked like a soft Wally Judge against Chappaquiddick?

he looks like a cross between Q Buchanon and Manny Dies.

we'll be where we should have been to start the season, which is 8-9.

i think they like the bullrushing of klein with the read-option as opposed to the run it out to the side and pitch it option just cause of the type of player klein is.  they probably didnt think it would work against ou anyway.

Several new starters this year--no problem.  This line is almost never penalized, run blocks awesome--including getting all the tough yards, has protected Klein against bigger supposedly very talented D-lines with no real issue...I'm very impressed.  This guy is worth every penny.  A great hire by Snyder and an underated part of our success.

feel like the program was due this win.  other than that bad call on the forward pass, everything went our way.  What can't we accomplish now?  The pressure will continue to mount but this would be the team to handle it.  EMAW!   :lynchmob:

logged in an hour before kickoff with my cbssports login i already had and had no issue with the payment.  seemed to be in HD in the small window, but fullscreen was fairly pixled.  also the bar at the bottom thing...i figured it was an IE issue but sounds like others have that problem too.  streaming was flawless for me, i used wifi at a sports bar on a $400 laptop i bought a month ago.  overall for $10 i'm not complaining.  but i won't be using it after this month either.

never thought i'd say it, but i may be starting to miss tim weiser.  at least he hired huggins.

38
these were exactly the questions i was yelling at my radio.

probably preparing his firebomb that he promised to rain down

the only way i'm supporting this is if the ultimate plan is to bring pearl in in 2 years.  but since thats so unlikely, i hate it.

adorable

Can you imagine after he runs one in from 26 yards out putting the cats up 28-20 with no time left and hands the ball off to the first kid he can find with terminal cancer? The kid gets the ball and turns to his parents. Mom gives him a huge huge and kiss, and Dad gives Daniel the most serious, from the gut thumbs-up he's ever given as Daniel jogs back towards the sideline?

probably would cure the kids cancer too

All season long I thought Frank seemed emotionally disconnected.  He acted like he didn't give a crap.  I told myself it was because he was gone after this season.  Seems I was right.

i thought this in several games too.  but i thought he just looked tired more than anything.  maybe it was more.

i wasn't saying they were.  unless you meant we still got good players without it?  i wasn't trying to connect the two.  just saying its unlikely there will be a mass exodus no matter who we hire.  and i was under the impression the funding for the practice facility was taken care of since its already being built.

Got it. Yeah, the practice facility is a done deal, but I think we'll lose lots of players if Frank leaves, and mostly good ones.

hope not.  currie should be immediately fired if he hires a coach so pathetic he can't retain any of the talent.

realistically though, how likely is it all our good players leave?  i doubt the practice facility gets canceled at this point.

None of our current players is here for a practice facility.

was easy to survive huggs because of beas/walker.  thats obvious. i think this is surviveable with some of the talent we have, plus the practice facility and fan support.  i would definitely be disapointed, but i'd be willing to climb on board with the next hire rather quickly if its decent.  Biggest issue would be currie...don't trust that guy.  even though he's been pretty solid up till now.

summary...feeling meh and will just enjoy watching it all play out.
all will be gone

rod will leave
angel will leave
jo will leave
gip wlll leave
practice facility will dry up and currie will divert the funds to football

depends on the hire then.  perhaps i am being a little too stupidly optimistic.

ugh i've been away from the board and am just now seeing this.  incredibly sad.  lots of prayers to the family.  theres no doubt i got hooked into ksu messageboarding because of fatty's work.  his videos, humor, in your face style, positive manner, it all added up to the best in messageboarding and K-State fandom.  RIP buddy.
