Kam is a disaster. Start Diarra.

Didn’t he and his dad(on the board) have like a colossal meltdown the last time this happened? Or am I thinking of someone else?

Nope, you're correct, that's them.

Clover is kstatebate

I know him irl, yikes. For his own good, he should not be here.

I'd rather have Klieman than the Muppet.

Who is the muppet?

105
Don't you like WINNING?

NDSU , me and Lollypop are 110-8 in last 7 years.  Its what we do.

So WHEN you sign Klieman, You will be a bigger winner than you've ever been.  its a system, its a process, its hard nosed football for tough guys, not a bunch of snowflakes like the rest of the Big 12.

craig bohl's version of hard-nosed football for tough guys produced 14 pts vs boise (loss), 13 pts vs hawaii (loss), 3 pts vs fresno (loss), and 16 pts vs utah st (loss).

hard-nosed football for tough guys has finished 97th, 104th, 33rd, 119th and 104th in total offense (adjusted stats) in five years, and has produced some of the most boring, god-awful, unwatchable games that i've ever seen.

hard-nosed football for tough guys gets you an invitation to the potato bowl.

seriously, gross!  :Yuck:
Who gives a crap about what wyomings done?

You rough ridin' certainly should if you're a K-State fan wondering how the jump to FBS is going to go for the current NDSU head coach. It's as close to a parallel as you'll find. I swear to God I will give up KSU football altogether if we hire that Hills Have Eyes looking mother rough rider you guys have passed off as a human being football coach.

This enormous dweeb is not going to be our coach. Like, Gene Taylor is going to silverback LHC Bill Snyder, and then hire this eff face? Mmkay.

Stokes is capable of having good games, wetwillie. He also has games like Penn where Oscar has to have Barry run point because Stokes pounded the ball at the top of the key for an entire half and we looked like dogshit. The reason that some people prefer Barry or Cartier at point is that they keep the ball moving, even if they're not shooting well that night. If Stokes isn't shooting well, he stops moving the ball, and the offense becomes about getting him on track, which should not be the ultimate goal.

Kam played 39 minutes against Kentucky and we won.  That seemed OK to me.

Against Denver he had three steals, four rebounds, drew at least one charge, forced a couple of other turnovers, three assists and two turovers.

He didn't make shots.  Diarra didn't make shots.  One of them needs to step up and put it in the basket to earn more playing time than the other guy.  If we're lucky, they both start hitting shots and Weber has a tough decision.

Their shooting percentages over their careers aren't close and Diarra is only a sophomore. It won't be a hard decision, but oscar will still make the wrong one.

Diarra needs like half of Kam's confidence. That way he would do all the great stuff he's capable of, and Kam would stop trying to do all the great stuff he's not capable of. Win/win.

Guys, there's no reason to disregard the optimism for this team. We watched them beat 5 NBA players in the Sweet Sixteen without Claws. Saw several role players play great in the tourney. Forecast is reasonable. Hopefully they clean things up soon. I would start by sitting Stokes and starting Diarra.

oscar seems to hold Stokes in much higher regard than your average Joe. I've never been entirely sure why. Diarra absolutely put this team on his back when Kam went down last year, not sure why that wasn't rewarded more handsomely. But, Diarra will be second fiddle as long as Kam is healthy, doesn't matter how either of them play.

111
Every once in awhile Stokes will have a microwave game. Get the kid a couple shots early each game, if he doesn't have it then play him sparingly. If he does have it, he still shouldn't play point, just run him off screens all night.

112
Indeed, Tom. A couple of years now.

113
Other players need to perform and separate from him. So far it's not happening.

Disagree, the second Diarra and McGuirl came into the game we immediately started seeing the offense move the ball and create open shots. Nobody is hitting, but the shots were open. All guarded jumpers when Stokes was in.

114
There are three better point guards on the roster, maybe four, and oscar just can't rough ridin' see it. Totally bizarre. The offense just grinds to a halt when he plays point. Guy just rough ridin' pounds the ball and takes guarded jumpers like it's his rough ridin' job. Which, I guess if they keep playing him, then it is.

Renocat is the worst though. I may get a KSO subscription if the season goes well. I don't know if I can deal with his whole herp derp yokel shtick. It just sucks so much ass.

you should either way. KSO is elite and our buds.

Thanks, SD. You've never steered me wrong in the past.

I think this team could comfortably make the tournament. That's all I'm ready to expect. I will probably watch the games this year, and I might even be excited about some of them. Bruceketball is a rocket ship to the moon, mother fuckers.

Canco that 8mp had a lot of fun on mushrooms in college. 'Mousse had quite a bit of fun too, until a super bad trip. Definitely would still recommend them to others though. Don't regret my experiences in the least. Probably wouldn't do them again, feel like the fear of another bad trip would be a self-fulfilling prophecy, but the good trips were WAY worth the bad one I had. Like 8mp said, it really does profoundly change the way you see the world, in a positive way.

119
He's better than the other two, but in his second year he had 14 TDs and 9 picks. I'd hesitate to say he's better than half the starting QBs in the league. Seems like maybe somebody would have made a move for him if that were the case. Especially since the price tag was a third round pick with a sixth coming back your way. I think all of the teams in the NFL could pay that if they felt like he was an upgrade over their starter, nobody did.

120
Usually agreeing with Wacky would make me a little wary about my position, but the alternative is taking people seriously that advocated drafting downgrades like Geno Smith, Teddy Bridgewater, and EJ Manuel. I mean, can you imagine expecting to be taken seriously after having those takes? Christ almighty.

121
What's a move the Chiefs could have made that would have been better than having Alex Smith put the org on solid ground, and then drafting the only QB worth a crap since Andy Reid has been here? I'll listen off the air.

122
Have all the dumbasses in this thread that have been insufferable pencil dicks about our QB situation for the past five years been publicly humiliated? If not. That should still happen. Chiefs could not have managed QB position any better during the Andy Reid era. Literally perfect. Eat ass, bozos.

I have 2 brain hemispheres that I can use.  Cheering for both.
Football for another glorious 6 to 8 game season, and a scuz bowl on Christmas.
Basketball.  The potential for a great year is off the charts.  I pity people who are football myopic.

I beg to differ.  MIR is talking about KSU Milk Stalls in the Bram during FB games.  I'm going to request spare milk to make some fresh Katmoma Ice Cream to be consumed during the hot days of football at BSFS.    :excited:

So, I know we're talking about Blake Griffin, but I just read this thread front to back today for the first time. Lots of good info in here. My wife and I are potty training our first kid, and I can say with almost 100% certainty, that anybody else I dated other than my wife would not have been a good enough person to put up with me during these difficult times in life. She handles it with a grace and aplomb that is admirable. Also, I think I was just incredibly lucky that I didn't end up with the other ones. There were a couple that I was head over heels for that would have made my life a living hell.

Is this oscar's first big that might be good, that didn't just like fall into his lap ala Claws? DJamer ended up being better than we thought he would be, but largely because his early play set the bar so low. Would be nice if oscar just started landing very serviceable 3 star bigs with offers from other "good" P5 programs. Would take.

You don't think Trice is going to be good?

Yes, he may be, but I don't KNOW that he's good. He hasn't done anything yet.
