the financial numbers released add fuel to a recent theory I heard on the Kietzman rants about HCFM's contract situation. So here's the theory:

We all know that KK has been the primary champion of the get the extension/pay raise done now crowd. While he hasn't said it, there have been no media reports about it, and neither Currie of HCFM have made ANY comments about it, there seems to be an implication that Currie & Martin are at odds about the extension & raise. 

We also know that KK is very tied into the athletic department and to many influential donors and recently talked about a group of BB donors that were very concerned about the HCFM situation.  Based upon this, the thought was that KK was fueling the fire to re-energize the donor base to open the checkbooks and make donations to fund the salary increase. 

Then today we seen numbers that show from 6/30/08 to 6/30/09, donations are down $1.0MM. 

Hmmmm, could it be that KK, the athletic dept, & major donors are using the excitement about the BB program to erase the hangover from the Krause/Wefald/Prince cluster shazbot!?  If so, I say great.  Anything that can be done to find an additional $500,000 to $1.0MM to lock Martin up is priority #1, even if it means following the Lew Perkins program of fleecing.  If i could find some extra scratch right now (remember, I have DIU expenses, am looking at jail time,and might have to ride a horse to work) I'd be sending it to Currie earmarked for the KFF (Keep Frank Fund).

Brian is just mad that somebody called him out for being the a hole that he is.  It's pretty clear from the beginning.  Anyway, if you said that you needed a divorce atty, I would assume that you were getting a divorce.  It's called logic, try it out sometime.  It might help you avoid future embarrassments like the one you're caught in now.

I sure hope they have internet in the big house where I'll be spending my time so I can post on goEMAW (and follow fitz on twitter).  I'll let you know where and when that is so you can make sure and mind your Ps & Qs during that time.  I'd hate for you to have to spend time in there with me because I'd make you my little girlfriend bitch.

Hell I'm not hungover. I stay drunk all the time.  Its really amazing how good I have gotten at drunk driving and posting on a message board at the same time.  I'm really going to be proud when I can be featured on Oprah.

Say you’re looking for a house and know of two that meet all of your minimum criteria.  You like each of these houses a lot.  They’re each very nice.  They’re priced comparably.  One of the houses is in a fracking fantastic neighborhood.  Your neighbors would very likely be people that you get along with.  There are lots of things to do in the area.  The other house is a fracking fantastic house.  It’s much larger and high-end than you anticipated that you’d be looking at.  Its neighborhood, however, isn’t as appealing.  Really nice houses, but a location that’s little more isolated.  And you’d likely just keep to yourself in this neighborhood.

Which house do you choose and why?  Any related experiences?

Look at the house like an investment.  Take your personal wants and desires out of the equation and look at the factors that affect the value and marketability of both.  If the price of both houses is similar but one house is smaller than the other, there must be some factor(s) that cause this.  Identify what those factors might be and whether they will still be factors that will affect value and marketability when you are ready to sell the house.

But then again, I'm "usually" drunk, going to be in jail,  can't drive to work, and may or may not be able to ride a horse based upon a religious exemption, so it might not be best to consider anything I might say on the subject.

No. I said I needed a DUI attorney.  It is for somebody I know who was stupid and got caught and now needs help.  I was excited that I was the 1st at bring the subject up on the new board.  Wow. some people need to take more classes on reading comprehension. Usually when one says that "I need a DUI attorney" one means that they got a DUI.  Good lord, you really r dumb.  And I don't buy the "my friend story" for one second.  

Usually?  Do you "usually" read more into what somebody posts? If somebody gets a DUI wouldn't they "usually" say "i got a DUI and need an attorney? If I said I need a divorce attorney would it "usually" mean that I got caught fracking my hot secretary and my wife had filed divorce?   Was the original purpose of the post to find out whether drinking & driving was acceptable? No. You just saw DUI and wanted to butt into somebody else's business and express how you think you are superior to everybody who has ever had a DUI and show how cool you are by being able to use emoticons.  Wow, your a real

The one that has a pool or has the most potential to put a pool in.  

Limestone is living with a pool and that's the rule.

Pools are a pain in the ass unless you can afford to pay someone else to take care of it.

Hot tubs are the way to go.

2 things to make a pool easy to maintain: Salt system and automatic cleaner.  If anybody needs help with a pool or wants one, let me know.

attempt that is on somebody's sig. My question is.. if he would have hit the FT, would the refs had allowed the shot?  It is a lane violation for the shooter to step into the lane before the ball hits the rim. clearly morningstar's foot hit the lane before the ball hit the rim which should have resulted in the ref waiving off the shot.  However, neither ref did anything.  Were they waiting to see if the shot was missed?  Maybe.  My money is on that since it was KU, if the shot would have went in, they would have allowed the basket.
