I feel like we could have an entire thread dedicated to O'Donnell. The dude is a humongous piece of crap.

The legislation says we need to buy F-35's to prevent, prepare for, and respond to COVID but sure libtards are just upset about the name of the bill.

I have a real bone to pick with people like Bqqkie, because actions like his (see also the abuse of emotional support animal carriage) create animus that blows back on people with legitimate disabilities and concomitant medical concerns. Sort of like how gluten free posers make people with Celiac disease embarassed to order at restaurants. Bqqkie, stop being a selfish prick.

That’s rich. Congrats on being perfectly programmed Spracs.

There’s nothing selfish at all about not wearing a mask. They really serve no purpose other than to help show who is a gullible mediot and who takes the time to understand the science that fails to support mask wearing.

Lastly, I got my “doctors note” from a local friend who is very good at photoshop. Thus, no mask needed.

The only time I might possibly need the note will be for our flights to Florida & back for our family vacation the first week of June. Otherwise, if a business requires masks, we simply don’t support them. Pretty simple concept really, especially since there are plenty of places here to spend our money that don’t require masks and are filled with other intelligent shoppers.

If this isn't an act, you're an incredible piece of crap.

I don't get it?

I think he was attempting to lobby for the meals and entertainment deduction for businesses to return? I think? Made 100% nondeductible with his tax reform. Previously 50% deductible.

Maybe  one of his most rational thoughts so far.

As of 2/6 there's more ice extent and ice area in Antarctica than in the previous 4 years on 2/6 and the trend line is running about right in the middle of the last 10 recorded years.

But hey, the records are only about 10 years old and there's more people doing more recording in Antarctica with more technology in play than ever before in history.

If you think sea ice extent is the important factor that disproves global warming here, you are sorely mistaken.

If you think that pointing to temp readings on a single day are proof of global warming than you are sorely mistaken.

ironically this is what many pubs I know do to disprove global warming

Single day records are "ironically" what many warmest alarmists use to "prove" global warming.   Case in point, one weather station (located mere feet from a steel railing and black asphalt highway) in France caused, dare I say, a total meltdown last summer.

I'm assuming you're referring to the heat wave that set record highs in multiple locations across France and caused hundreds of deaths from heat exhaustion?

This press conference with the Finnish president was... something. He's unhinged.

I thought maybe he deleted it because he realized it was not a great idea to threaten his own nominee... nope. Just corrected his spelling.

I must have missed the meeting where we discussed this, but why again do I want to buy Michael J. Fox's stem cells?

I lurk here a lot and I've reached the point where I legitimately can't tell if some of you are serious or GE'ing when you post some of these takes, particularly being mad at the coverage since no one has even died. These can't be real thoughts by real individuals, yeah?

If you read that DM and your takeaway was that she unfriended you because of one comment about Michelle Wolf then I don't know what to tell you.

Rev. Rul. 82-208 prevents a cash basis taxpayer (i.e. individuals) from deducting state tax payments when, on the date of the payment, you couldn't reasonably determine the amount of the tax - so paying a 2018 state tax estimate would not be allowed since you don't technically know your income for 2018 on which to base that estimate. The same logic could be extended to real estate and property taxes since technically they haven't been assessed yet. Your tax adviser should have warned you about trying to prepay years in advance.

It's pretty hard to qualify for, so from a certain perspective you're both right!
