panera pro tip:  order small size steak chili, small size mac and cheese, large salad bowl.  combine.

You are a lunch savant.  I think you need to write a book.

Have tried Panera?  I think they are #winning as far as breakfast goes.

Really?  Going to need some menu items.  Also, it is asking a lot for me to drive over there when I am in walking distance of Chef and Hyvee (mitigation of at least 80% of the baguette/cheese/cold cuts argument)

A former wall-street hot shot, now turned crack junkie with a hot ex girlfriend, whom he still believes he has a chance at reclaiming.

He's a perpetual paranoid wreck on the brink of suicide, but the ghosts in his memory keep him chasing idealistic, unlikely tomorrows.

No.  More like wall-street hot shot that lost most of his wealth, but sold out, moved to the Ozarks (instead of Ibiza) and just sits around.

Thanks for the warm welcome.  I must admit I'm probably not the sharpst knife in the drawer and so haven't quite figured out the board and its agenda.  Too soon to jump to conclusions.

From Concordia, Ks.

Thank you for clarifying.   The specter of a Lutheran sleeper cell would've put Pete in a very bad place.

Don't you think the guy who has been to Turkey and has Turkish friends knows more about it than you? Bunch of rubes in the thread.  :flush:

Excellent point.  No one else in this thread could possibly know more than "guy with Turkish/Arab friends."  Pure science.

"I took a geography class, I know everything about the Turkish people!!!"

rube.

Wow, you're serious? "I've been to Turkey and know Turks, I know everything about Turkey!!!"

Turkey is not an Arab country, nor is it part of an Arab region, the end.

That doesn't mean they don't consider themselves Arabs. But really, who the eff cares what they consider themselves.
The don't consider themselves Arabs at all.  They are Turks.

Little known fact, but Kurdish Turks think of themselves as Persians.

Relentless persecution causes all kinds of identity issues.

2009 vs 2010 would be a great stand alone thread. someone should start that up. i have some passionate views about that one.

How is that possible?  These are two of the biggest meh teams in the history of ksu.  You could neither truly hate nor enjoy them.  You could not laugh at nor love them.  They were completely mediocre.

Gonna sound like a rube here but Lil Caesers breadsticks are pretty damn great.

Never have liked those.

Never have liked your face bro.  Never liked it.

above other Arab countries

You have a problem with that?  I'm around Turkish people and that's what they refer to the region as.

When you say "Turkish women are above other Arab countries," that means you think Turkey is an Arab country (a common belief among Americans because we're geographically ignorant). If that's not what you meant then you should have left off the word "other," but it's too late now.

Maybe you've dealt with a different group of Turks than I'm around, but that's how they think of themselves.  I know Turkey is not on the Arabian Peninsula, but the one's I'm around think of themselves as part of the Arab Region.  Geographically, you are correct that my statement was incorrect.  I guess it's just a habit I've formed since I've started interacting with them.

Maybe you're friends with some Arab Turks?  I mean I'm friends with some Asians that were born in like Johnson County.  Facts of life bro.  These facts do not make Kietz Asian.

The only call that was terrible in retrospect was the non-offside call on the Marta goal.  The red card was iffy and the encroachment on the PK was legit.

Incredible how inept the truck made the announcers look.  You can't queue up 15 replays and inform the announcers until after the game?

Also, Dsams and Omari are bffs.  In addition, when talking to Omari it is not (I repeat, NOT) in your best interest to bring up the sexual nature of his tweets.

go on.....

Depends on whether you pay at the table or at a cash register on your way out.

If they bring you the ticket, take your card, and return the ticket with a place for tip, you should tip.  how much is your call (not more than 20% unless they brought you free crap, brunch is almost always overpriced and never very good so your overtipping no matter what).

If you have to wait in line at a cash register to pay, throw a $1 and whatever change is in your pocket on the table for the bus boy.  If you're one of these weirdos that doesn't ever carry cash, you have a built-in excuse not to tip, use it.

You give bad tipping advice.

Wait so they changed firms based on an article? I have no clue what is going on.

I think that is the takeaway here....

not even kstate is that stupid.

They've become very anti-litigation.  You should threaten to sue OBz, KSU and the whole damn system for that time when he kicked you out of his seat and see what kind of quick settlement you can get.

Dunno about that.  When Prez Schulz was out here he told me they hired a bunch of new in-house attorneys since they could get them on the cheap due to the current total collapse of the legal market.

When you had your personal sitdown with Schulz, did EPAW come up?  Follow up.  How loaded are you?  Last one.  After 10-15 years accumulating even greater wealth will you become a goEMAW benefactor wearing snow leopard shawls over your purple silk crocktail dress and white gloves puffing off a smoking holder?

Big fan.  I'll listen off the air.

1. Unfortunately, EPAW did not come up.  Huge regret. Big missed opportunity.

2.  :kstategrad:

3. Great idea.  Will do at MOAP2.

Wow.  Feel like Answer 3 answered #2 on a completely different level.
